do you think its even possible to do a pacifist playthrough of fallout 4?
No, for instance, you have to kill [sp]Kelogg[/sp]. Unless you let a companion kill him or something.
I finally found a legendary melee weapon.
A super mutant suicider promptly blew me up and now I've lost it.

It's okay, I re-fast traveled there and the same legendary bloatfly with the same weapon respawned.
Fuck me that was both scary and annoying all at once.
However there are many, many missions you can do with no kills, and almost all of them in the game can be completed without you yourself killing anything (relying on companion or pacification)

ya i think its all based on technicalities, maybe conscientious objector playthrough is a better description
How come nobody's used the advanced face sculpting to make George Costanza for a melee run?
He was already in New Vegas though
Decided to go for a fun challenge and do a stealth mission with zero kills. Mind you I'm still at the point stealth is a bit tough.

Recon scope is EXTREMELY helpful in these instances, just for tagging enemies and knowing where they are. Felt like I was playing a first person MGS game.
This always made me think why wasn't there binoculars weapon with that gimmick.
Am I the only person who never kills Parker Quinn?

Even worse is when it's tiny brown bloatfly corpse rolls into a big brown rubble and brown foliage-filled ravine and you can never find it again
This always made me think why wasn't there binoculars weapon with that gimmick.
As a workaround, just get a very lightweight weapon (pipe pistols are a good fit), make both a short and long recon scope for it and use it strictly for scouting, switching between the scopes when needed. Make it as light as possible with further weapon modifications, and name it something like "Recon Sight" or "Monocular" to find it easily in your inventory. Alternatively to save carry weight, just add a recon scope to a weapon you hip-fire anyway.
And remember, when you're crouched behind a flat wall near a corner, aim down sights to peek out around that corner. Even with nothing in stealth perks it'll take a couple seconds to be noticed if you do this.
So is it a glitch that Danse becomes a normal settler after you become enemies with the brotherhood after[sp]Blind Betrayal?[/sp]
No, for instance, you have to kill [sp]Kelogg[/sp]. Unless you let a companion kill him or something.
I reckon that someone will come up with a way to completely skip that part of the main quest by a glitch or exploit for a speedrun
So is it a glitch that Danse becomes a normal settler after you become enemies with the brotherhood after[sp]Blind Betrayal?[/sp]
Odd, he should still be a companion.
He's supposed to [sp]go into hiding if he survives and you don't make him your follower, so that sounds like a bug[/sp]
Huh, I thought if he lived he would still be a companion.

I wonder if you can [sp]Get to Virigl before killing Kellogg and if so, if he'll offer the teleporter schematics.[/sp]
Has Devine Revalation been posted here yet? Its in alpha but its a very interesting concept, because it changes the look of the game completely to be overridden by plant life (except in the glowing sea) and it also changes a shit ton of textures to be more HD or to add plants to them, Its a massive mod (1.3GB) but its pretty interesting and I'm downloading it now.

Some of the normalmaps look really fucky, like they were thrown into crazybump.
Anyone know the console commands to enable assigning certain people to things? I'm sick of mamma murphy not doing anything.
And that's not even really a bad thing IMO.
I never liked his previous work and many people were antsy over his grimdark shit.
I don't know, he was really good at writing interesting characters and incidental quests
But yeah, you probably shouldn't let him near the overarching story... Well Divinity 2 is going to be 'interesting'
He's supposed to [sp]go into hiding if he survives and you don't make him your follower, so that sounds like a bug[/sp]
Well I had him as a companion. Stumbled across some brotherhood knights. [sp]Because with Danse as a companion I become an enemy of the Brotherhood. After I killed a few I became their enemy for good. Danse just stops being my companion and heads to Sanctuary. All I can do is ask him to trade.[/sp]

This is VERY helpful, can finally get rid of that bitch Marcy... I mean I could have removed her essential status and killed her or something but at least now I can put her to work on my caravans and actually get some use out of that whiny crapbasket.
No mods nor fixes for that as far I know, it is how it has been meant to be even.

you havent lived until you destroyed a legendary gutsy/assaultron, went over to pick up the legendary and suddenly it explodes in a mini-nuke explosion
Could someone test something real quick? Open console and type "player.placeatme 65df2 1" followed by "player.additem 65df3 1"
Use what you get and tell me what happens.
The Thing I asked for.
OH thank fuck. I was searching for these in this thread but I was using the find function instead of looking for the image. I could swear I saw it here, just didn't realize how.

first thing did nothing, second thing added a "Nuke" to my inventory that I cant see in the pipboy.
Try player.additem instead of player.placeatme for the first one
So, "player.additem 65df2 1" followed by "player.additem 65df3 1"

also gave me a nuke but this time the console filled with stats like "perk rank >> 0" and "Perk rank >> 1" "HasKeyword >> 0.00" "getglobalvalue >> 15.05"

oh these are weapons. Looks like a broadsider but uses the second item as ammo and has 825 damage
[editline]10th December 2015[/editline]
fires a GIANT nuke. Just found that out.
[editline]10th December 2015[/editline]
reloads like the broadsider but has red cannonballs
any console commands to get unlimited or a lot of Wood?
I'm okay with earning everything else but at some point Wood becomes the most difficult and most tedious resource to find.
