did he not play fallout 3?
He is one of those special children that blew through the main quest and concluded that the game was shit.
I wonder if ammo crafting will come in a later DLC like skyrims "Hearthfire" was for homes? It just seems so silly to literally already have a crafting and "every item a component", but not have ammo as well. Hell the mini nuke even has separate parts (Beryllium Cap, Detonator Shell, and Hemisphere Core) as if to put one together.
I'm pretty late, but I think that the nuke firing broadsider is used to (here there be monsters sidequest spoiler)[sp]fire the tactical missiles from Zhao's submarine, since the projectiles and function seem to be the same.[/sp]
Well that seems to make the most sense so far. The intro theory is sound except for the fact that it's too small of an explosion.
It would be pretty dumb to release a dlc that does what a few mods already do.
Well, it wouldn't be enough to warrant a DLC of just that, but the main point was maybe it'll come later? And there's always a reason to, there are a lot of people who deal in mods obviously, but there are just as many who don't, especially the console crowd. If I recall correctly, didn't Beth say that they are trying to get mods on consoles? Even if that goes through, who knows when that will actually happen, making the consoles more or less stuck with whatever is officially released.
He is one of those special children that blew through the main quest and concluded that the game was shit.
So basically the average NMA user
Well the Institute's best weapons are the world's least-effective killer robots
The fact that they're robots is another point in MT's favour. They have weapons like sonic emitters and protonic inversal axes that are effective against robots because of their EMP properties. Wouldn't do much against gen 3s because they're probably too organic, but it would destroy gen 1s and 2s.
Ok where the fuck are the multiple companion mods. Woody and Buzz Lightyear together in the Commonwealth would be glorious.
So just take Preston's clothes and roll with Danse
I'm so glad I got the PC version. Without console commands I wouldn't be able to have half as much fun, procuring supplies and outfits for my settlements and settlers. Right now I'm on a Minuteman playthrough with army fatigues and such, but eventually I want to do a BoS and Diamond City uniform playthrough for my guards and such. Wouldn't be possible otherwise.
Agree so much. Although I still have stored bunch of military fatigues and helmets and combat armor in Workshop container...and a whole lot of other clothes. Might scrap 'em. I'm not yet into the process of making settlements have single uniform mostly though, except one of them. [editline]10th December 2015[/editline]
Mostly tense because you just know those meat bags have useful stuff just often enough that you have to search all of them.
No! It's because you can see bloodied legs and arms sticking through the sacks, with remains of butchered corpses and blood everywhere. :disgust: Poor humies.

The forceful disconnect would probably kill 'em, or at least leave 'em dazed and confused. Like that one bit halfway through The Phantom Menace.
Was it just me being really shit at the game, or was The Pitt really, REALLY hard for anyone else their first time through it? My character was stealth spec with relatively low STR and END, so that might've skewed things against me. [editline]t[/editline] Didn't have a guide to use either, and spent most of the DLC cripplingly addicted to buffout because it was all I could reliably get hold of to fix my health and low STR/END.

is anybody else not able to finish trouble brewing? for whatever reason I can't tell buddy to go to the rexford
is anybody else not able to finish trouble brewing? for whatever reason I can't tell buddy to go to the rexford
Does he not go there at all or have you not traveled to the hotel? If the latter, he's waiting for you outside the hotel like a true buddy would.
is anybody else not able to finish trouble brewing? for whatever reason I can't tell buddy to go to the rexford
Did you tell him to go to your settlement instead when you first met him? If you did you need to go Hotel Rexford, talk to the guy and say you're selling him. Go to Buddy and say "I've sold you" and he'll walk to the Hotel and wait for you outside.
he doesn't go there at all and I have no dialogue options with him. my first time meeting him was during the quest. I've tried resetting the quest and it makes no difference
Sorry for the audio being a bit off sync, it was not like that when windows media player was playing it back but it seems Hitfilm was having some issues. I'll sort it out but in the meantime, this is why I love mods in Bethesda games.
I tried using the console to move him there but he just started walking away, presumably back to the taphouse. the quest marker is still on buddy and I'm still on the "find the brewing machine" part of the quest
Bethesda really needed to give them some sort of secret weapon that they could break out once the other factions start to be a legitimate threat, as it is they just sit back and calmly wait for you to kick down their door
Seems to be that at some point the Institute was supposedly able to unleash some sort of Orbital Bombardment as seen around 2:15. I have finished the game as Brotherhood so I'm not quite certain if this section is in the game, but I suppose it got axed as I have seen zero reference to it? Or is it just[sp]the Institute blowing up?[/sp]
So, the best Settlement mods? I'm simply looking at 1) Homemaker Expanded Settlements 2) Settlement Supplies Expanded both seem to add a lot, also are there any mods that tinker with the chance of attacks occurring?
I'm pretty sure that's just [sp]The Institute blowing up.[/sp]
Thanks for clarifying.[sp]It blew up during the day in my game so it looked a bit different.[/sp]
I have 140 hours, and after grandma played her numbers the 600th time, I just got a song from Magnolia about trains for the first time ever. I heard the good-good neighbour one before, but Travis's speech about it was really distinguishable so I know I haven't heard it before. Why do these songs occur so rarely?
I am hoping that soon one of those "proper first person" mods is released that basicly sticks the camera to your face during the third person animations. Apart from seeing your total body, I really wonder how much more badass PA will feel with a mod like that. Especially when you drop from high altitudes would be so much cooler if you actually see your fist slam into the ground with the dust effect and all. PA loses much of its weight due to the way first person is handled.
Bethesda opened a studio in Montreal (Twitter.com) Full article (Bethesda.net)
As a bethesda game studios fan, I can say with relief, FUCKING FINALLY. seriously, with only 3.5 years and 90 people, did anyone really expect a polished game out of Fallout 4? Especially comparing it to witcher 3, which had like 150 people and 4.5 years on it. Hopefully at the very least they'll be switching between the developers for games from now on, giving each studio 6 years to make their games, if they are going off the 3 years in between game thing. And hopefully they won't be trying to do an annual release sort of thing for games, then they'd have really fucked up because these games can't be shat out like asscreed without people noticing the quality dropping significantly. And I hope that these new guys are talented. ah shit wait a minute:
Bethesda Game Studios Montreal has already established a core team of more than 40 developers, spanning both console and mobile development.
mobile games. :frown:
ah shit wait a minute: mobile games. :frown:
That just means the developers come from a background making games for mobiles. It doesn't necessarily mean the Montreal studio will be making mobile games.
youre both wrong, its probably some NPC that spawns way up high, shooting that missile that is the nuke from [sp] the Chinese submarine [/sp]. i mean shit, this is fallout we are talking about, the same game that strapped a fucking tram to an NPC's head and had it run lightning speed to be the trams in New Vegas.
Can confirm, here's footage of the homing beacon missile. I don't see the issue, it's just [sp]an early stage of the ending explosion.[/sp]
