[sp]Too soon[/sp]
I totally did that on purpose. :godzing:
Also Rivet City can get fucked, they had the best location for a settlement in the Capital Wasteland and didn't use it for anything productive
Besides an active lab that was working on growing un-mutated crops and a functional hospital that allowed the Lone Wanderer to be born? And the part where they become one of the main distributors once the purifier is up?
If anyone still plays Fallout Shelter, they updated it to make it Xmas themed, and now there's pets that give benefits to vault dwellers.
Power the Commonwealth, power whatever, literally anything else other than destroy it.
What would they power in the Commonwealth? Like, specifically, what? Because if they can't come up with anything to use it for, then by their protocol it has to be destroyed.
Actually they had reasons, not very good ones but reasons neither the less, I think they were trying to perfect the FEV in some fashion to create perfect humans or something I can't really remember. It was Father who pushed the program to continue despite diminishing returns, honestly I feel as though he was the cancer in the Institute, get him out of the picture and you would have had advanced Cybernetics, the FEV project would have been shutdown WHEN they had got what they needed all that jazz.
[sp]Zimmer was actually responsible for starting the program. It mentions on a terminal that he was adamant about getting it going. He obviously saw something in the Super Mutants on his journey's to the Capitol.[/sp]
Combat zone was gonna be fully functional and not just a raider shooting gallery
God DAMN IT someone better make this into a fucking mod.
[sp]Zimmer was actually responsible for starting the program. It mentions on a terminal that he was adamant about getting it going. He obviously saw something in the Super Mutants on his journey's to the Capitol.[/sp]
I never said anything about Father starting the program, while I don't agree with said program it was started for legitimate reasons. It's just Father, for some odd reason wanted to keep it going despite as I have already said diminishing returns and nothing of value, besides one thing actually coming out of it, honestly he was a bit batty in that regard. [sp]The cure for the Boston FEV, I'd totally bring Virgil back to the Institute for that, that knowledge is worth a lot, I do wonder why I can't do that when I eventually gain power as The Director, you'd think me inviting him back would be an option.[/sp]
[sp]Compromise already kind of exists, 3 out of 4 factions survive the Minuteman ending, and it's also the independence route too.[/sp] But yeah, probably pretty low, sadly.
[SP]So, you can do BoS quests, or be BoS, even with Minuteman ending..?[/sp]
[SP]So, you can do BoS quests, or be BoS, even with Minuteman ending..?[/sp]
[sp]Sort of, I think if you did something specific in one of the Minutemen quests the Brotherhood of Steel will attack the castle.[/sp]
I spent the better part of the day trying to make a nice sign for the Starlight drive-in settlement.
[SP]So, you can do BoS quests, or be BoS, even with Minuteman ending..?[/sp]
Do BoS up till you reach rank [sp]Paladin[/sp] After that at [sp]Institute murder someone and become hostile with them[/sp], bunch of new quests for Minutemen come.
Nerd Rage is an amazing perk for melee builds. I've been having the time of my life with nerd rage, a machete, and moving target.
Go to your workshop grab all items, now drop all items and using workshop mode scrap/move them to workshop and watch the build limit go down.
Believe me, I did, that picture was after I stripped the sign down a bit :v: [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/395552769138104331/7423C85C80BA39EF4FF46CCA5A20471759938A97/[/t]

Name it "settlement" or something. Put this in the text document:
setav 349 3675555555.00 setav 34B 3675555555.00 getav 349 getav 34B
In-game, go into console, click on the workshop, type "bat settlement"
Reading this thread is like trying to read a US government document on area 51. more blackout than night time in Detroit.
It's entirely depended on if they add that "challenge Maxson for his power as Elder and take control of the BoS for yourself" ending that was cut.
This isn't in the game? Really? Man, I was hopeful it was. I like the BoS. They're the coolest faction in the series in my opinion, and even in more questionable times they at least have the safety of the innocent in mind. The ability to axe Maxson and take the brotherhood down a better path would've been great, but it's shocking to me there isn't even the option to force them to retreat rather than wiping them all out if you don't want to side with them. Maxson is the ultimate problem with them. I'd rather not throw the baby out with the bathwater, but letting him stay is potentially worse.
I wish the size limit of settlements would be bigger without having to edit the game files or using console commands. Sanctuary isn't even half-restored and I'm at full capacity. Why give me such a big zone if I can't even put a wall around it without hitting the size limit?

Being able to chose a new path would be great.
Its sad that instead of releasing cool features that were cut later, we'll just never see them again because the game is considered "released and finished"
Wouldn't want to let up to the mainstream community that the game released as anything less than perfect and intended.

You wouldn't believe how many of those are there.
Damn, I've actually ran out of places to explore. Anyone know an area where lots of high level enemies spawn? Need to do some XP hunting to get a few perks I need to finish my character. Also, does Missile Launcher benefit from Heavy guns or Explosives perks? Because I found an Instigating one, and that sparked my interest.
I hope they do a game jam and that it finishes the combat zone and all that good stuff.
so all of these mods have been made without the creation kit out yet? whoa, I can only imagine how good it'll soon get because already some of these mods are fantastic
Can't wait for the building ones that get rid of having to use glitches to do half the shit you want to.
What would be fucking great is if [sp]The Sole survivor, either as a male or female, could in some way hint to Elder Maxson he served with/her husband served with Roger Maxson before retiring from the Army in 2077, and even discuss details of the former Maxson to Arthur to try and guide him.[/sp]
Probably it's just me, but comparing Fallout 4's City of Boston compared to Fallout 3's Washington D.C, Boston feels somehow much, much smaller than D.C. to me. Again probably just me, but I just really feel like D.C. is pretty much so much more huge compared to Boston. (Although the Boneyard is much, much larger than both of them, they kinda cheated on that back in the day with their random encounter system)
I think it's because DC's buildings are shorter, so you can see more of it at once (and it looks bigger as a result) Stand on one of the huge towers in Boston and pan the camera. It's a lot larger than it feels at street level.
[t] http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/401182272562599001/88C7D883CACD7521DB709F6345A19AAD07423DA5/ [/t] [sp] I returned to the CIT ruins after nuking the institute. there's 4 synths floating in the water and this power armor demigod floating above them, anyone else had this happen? [/sp]
Bask in the glory of Atom's glow.
Do BoS up till you reach rank [sp]Paladin[/sp] After that at [sp]Institute murder someone and become hostile with them[/sp], bunch of new quests for Minutemen come.
Hmm alright.. I mean I wanna go BoS all the way, but if that means killing like [sp]Preston&Minutemen, and possibly the Railroad people, whoever they are[/sp] then I'm not sure if I wanna tag along with them further than that rank. As for [sp]Institute, only those that try to deceive other humans, aka gen 3's I believe, must die.[/sp]
