Warning to those playing BoS, "feeding the troops" radient quest will give control of settlments to the brotherhood. Including ones you own already!
I did manage to regain control by doing the quest again, getting the same location, and then killing settlers instead of bribing or convincing them.
So if you want to control all settlements like me, kill settlers.
I'm currently playing a minuteman playthrough, what does giving control to the Bos do? Do paladins patrol the settlement or something?
So as I was completing Nick's companion questline, the game decided to start the UFO crash site random encounter.
So now I have a ufo crashed somewhere in the dead center of Boston, which equals to finding a needle in a haystack.
Well fuck you too game.
It's always in the same place
Browsing Facepunch almost makes you wish for a... Ohh wait a minute!
I keep getting the message about content that's missing from my save today. Even after reinstalling all my mods.
Is there anyway to find out what's bugging out?
[editline]11/12/2015[/editline]
Sorted it out, one of my esp's was disabled for some reason.
It's always in the same place
It's near the police station the brotherhood are at
It's always in the same place
It's directly east of Oberland Station.
Okay, NOW I've explored everything, and found a nice full set of T51 PA too. Upped the shit out of it. So now what do? I'm level 58. Any locations that spawn a lot of enemies? Maybe the entirety of the Glowing sea?
Wait for somebody to make settlement attacks more common and more challenging.
Mean while, my druggie camp got a Mirelurk attack (again... still no super mutants to rape them), so I literally just stood there, watching my druggie settlers go up against the lurks.
It's pretty funny when like 4-5 settlers surround a Mirelurk and whack it slowly to death with boards and machetes. :v:

Haven't made settlements, not interested in that part of the game.

whats great is there are settlements that you can just use as a place to dump your crap and store your power armor, and you don't need to bring people in
I completed [sp]The Nuclear Option for the Brotherhood[/sp] and now I've returned to my main hub and Piper has disappeared. Has anybody else run into this?
Jesus, this game is buggy! I cant go to Bunker Hill without being shot at despite not being there at all.

I use home plate for my stuff dump, know it's never gonna get raided there. Used console commands to spawn in the various crafting stations.
Man it's so very obvious that the castle will end up getting vertibird attacks if I betray the brotherhood.
That's the only thing that ever spawns nearby when I teleport in, and they fly right overhead looking like they're about to attack but they never do. The settlers even panic about it. Stop invading my airspace you dicks. I'm helping you.
A nice mod would be to add attacks similar to the [sp]institutes attack on the castle. That shit was what I expected settlement raids to be. [/sp]

I wouldn't worry, here is a non-comprehensive list of things I have seen take down a vertibird:
- A bridge
- A single raider with a pipe pistol
- A lamp post
- Another vertibird I called in with a signal grenade
- A BOS soldier trying to aim at a bloatfly
- A frag grenade going off in the near vicinity
I mean taking it down isn't a problem. What IS a problem is the fact it will almost certainly kill vital settlers and then blow up inside the walls killing more and breaking tons of shit.

Settlers can only be killed by the player. They just go into the "oooh I'm hurt" animation otherwise.

I dunno about this, I mean I've seen it but I had a few settlers killed in a raider attack.
Though that could have been a line of fire thing because they jumped in front of 5.56 machine-gun turret fire :v:

Ya I leaned pretty quickly that settlers will grab weapons out of my storage, and I never left any ammo so they all had melee weapons and would run at super mutants and beat them to death, its pretty funny watching a dozen people armed with knives and swords fighting a super mutant who has a machinegun

She's in diamond city
I find it kind of stupid that you don't get a map marker for the WRVR Brodcast Station after finishing curtain call.

I went there after the quest, and they [sp]acted like Rex wasn't even there even though he was sitting right across from them[/sp]. Their dialogue was stuck in a loop basically.

I believe you have to give them at least 1 ammo of whatever weapon they have equipped (you can equip them weapons), and then they will stick with the weapon always. Or equip them with melee weapon. As far as I've learned..
The cow jumped over the moon.

And landed on the house.
Are there more than two conversations that reference [sp]motorcycle guy[/sp]? I posted about one near [sp]Trinity Plaza[/sp] a while back and just heard another outside [sp]Hardware Town[/sp]. I had no idea he was a recurring character, and now I want to follow his trail of confusion and absurdity.

I don't know exactly how many conversations there are about him, but both Super Mutants and Raiders talk about him. I find it hilarious that even the Mutants are too confused to shoot at him.

totally not useless turret housing that makes my settlement have a high defense rating and is only to prevent raiders from attacking.

And the Stats of the settlement. I've sent a settler there to start working, so this pic is slightly outdated.

and I get like 30 fps looking in the direction of the turret box lol.

I wish Motorcycle man was a random encounter.
Like you're in a three way fight between super mutants and raiders, then he just pops out of nowhere doing his thing and makes everyone stop fighting for a minute.

I wish he was a companion.
He doesn't actually help you, but nobody will shoot at him, and he just pretends to shoot at enemies and jam stimpaks in his arm. Also if you talk to him, sometimes he says he's giving you something and the little "Item added" message pops up, but you don't actually get anything.
What was the mod that doubled your damage output when playing on Survival. I cranked my difficulty up, and holy shit, the sponge-bullets are real. Fucking emptying 10 mags of .50 into a raiders head and he keeps wondering where the fuck they keep coming from.
