Has any of you thought about inflating some steam market prices? I was looking at some exclusive Loadout items that would be easy to control by buying a lot of them at a low price since they're a one time use cosmetic bound to your account. The only way to acquire them was the last summer sale. So anything that fits in the category of limited stock might work. I'm not really in the need of money just curious how the market could be shaped by collaborative effort.
Search the CSGO skins and see if they're stolen artwork. Then proceed to get people to buy a bunch of these and then show on the CSGO reddit that the gun showcases stolen artwork. Watch the price of the gun go up by $10+. You now have made money.
I reinstalled steam on my phone while having two factor security enabled. Now it won't let me login and/or change it Now I have have to wait the month for steam support to get back to me.
should have saved some offline login codes I have mine
Yeah, Didn't realise until now you could actually generate recovery codes. Didn't receive a recovery code in my steam auth activation email either :(

Was bored, so counted how many updates Valve made this year to their games. Dota2: 38 TF2: 17 CSGO: 10 The last relevant event/content update for TF2 was last Fall (if we count the beta then December), and for GO that was December. This is shameful. Valve is a sloppy service provider, since they consider these as a services (same goes for Steam obviously).
Yeah they should push updates out every week like every other developer!
They do it with DOTA2 why not TF2 and CSGO
Yeah they should push updates out every week like every other developer!
Or they could sell a broken product for $10 and update it 6 years after it was never updated, then break it more, and leave it to rot letting idiots buy it for $10 thinking its the better version of the game.
Who's talking about every other week? Are you saying there are no content issues with those games? I'm sure the fans think otherwise. For ex. GO is the undisputed #2 game on Steam, yet it doesn't seem like Valve is giving it the attention it deserves. These are services and customers have the right to expect better. Simple. Is Steam's Customer Service good? No? Then Valve is sloppy and cheap.
What version did steamstealer get too?

This is the 141st day of the year, so that means for CS:GO, they're pushing out updates once every two weeks, once a week + 1 day for TF2, and once every 4 days for Dota 2. And this is bad? Even what you're tagging as most disappointing, CS:GO, the updates are mostly pretty packed with balance changes and fixes.
What else would I mean by this year? The numbers are there to show the imbalance towards Dota. And let's not pretend Valve isn't missing crucial fixes with those updates or that people have been happy with the balances (Tec-9 and AWP). And why are you ignoring the second part, which is about content and events? That's the relevant part. The last operation has ended almost two months ago. I don't recall waiting this long for another one (now in before Valve launch it today/tomorrow).

Chill out.
