Latency is really bad on steam link. Don't bother with it tbh. There's at least 1 sec delay between hitting a button and it reacting.

Over reacted, it's not as bad as I made it out to be, you won't be sniping with steam link but I found I could still do pretty good with any other class in TF2. In other games you can hardly feel it.

It totally varies for games, network setups etc. Other impressions I see are more positive. Did you mess with the settings? Turn on HW encoding and decoding etc

I tried TF2 and Chivalry on balanced settings and they were unplayable, PC and link connected by Ethernet cables. Then played two brothers on fastest settings with no complaints. I guess if you play anything other than a first person game you should be fine.
