Still waiting on mine to get here, I think I'm actually more excited for the controller profiler than for the actual controller.

Man, a lot of the Youtubers covering the controller are doing more harm than good. They don't even know how it works, they just plug it in, play with it and then conclude it's shit. You know what I'm really enjoying the Steam controller for? Playing the casual [I]fuck[/I] out of minecraft, this is actually really good: You can bind the left pad to do this really cool scrolling in your inventory, for $50 I'm satisfied.

For simple games with simple controls, and a camera rather than a fixed crosshair, a controller is a lot nicer

After 10 h of using Steam Controller, I can say few positives: + You can bind any button you want (X360 controller, Keyboard & mouse) + Every (Steam) game works with it (It takes time to make or find a good config) So far I tested (shooters) : - Deus Ex 1 - Serious Sam 3 - Metro 2033 This being said I'm still wondering if the price is worht it... Maybe?

They have the lighter on the dpad, and the journal+lighter on the select...but, wait, look at the preset, there's no...gasmask... filter... flashlight... what the what is this? it's effectively not possible to beat the game with only a standard controller because of this. I always got the impression Metro was a Console shooter, since it has such a low FOV, and was marketed as such early on. Regardless it's one of my favorite shooters.

I just played through the Super 8 interactive trailer in Portal 2. I think thats actually a pretty neat idea, but I had no idea it was there until I watched the movie today.

Literally, they complained about an extra being an extra.
