tbh I really never see rumble used that well, it just becomes super annoying really.

MGS4. I'm pretty sure the rumble I've felt in certain cutscenes were supposed to be Snake's heartbeat.

It works now, suspiciously fast though. Managed to buy Vermintide at the speed of light.

Every time steam farts or you just lose connection to steam it logs you out from community and store (You are still logged in steam client though) but going from page to page couple times should auto login you back.
I cancelled the steam controller preorder (better safe than sorry). Since it was at a local game store that doesn't give refunds in cash, the 10 bucks I had put into the reservation instead went to The Evil Within, which they inexplicably had on PC for 10 euros when Steam sells it for 60.
Can't complain about a free game :v:

Half-Life universe VR demo maybe?
So a Steam mobile update (2.0.0) rolled today, now I return to home screen about a second after it shows the Steam loading screen. Have a feeling in my gut I know what the dreaded answer is, but, anyone else have this issue/know what's up?
Steam controller arrived, after it being stuck in mail for some reason.
Have to say, it sits perfectly in my hands, and feels pretty accurate to boot. Only gripe for me so far is that the text input layout on big picture mode tends to get stuck, and the part how in order to set-up non-steam games for it you need to boot 'em trough big picture mode.
Sometimes when I open BPM with my steam controller already enabled, every click is a double click no matter what. Have to reconnect the controller to fix it.
I really like the steam controller but still haven't found comfortable aim settings for a shooter. Played a lot of Crusader Kinds 2 with it and the Link and it works surprisingly well too.
When I first got it I plugged it in directly to the Link and didn't update the firmware, found that the trackpads didn't work right at all, they were going every direction. Luckily firmware update fixed that, still makes you wonder how they left the factory like that.
Overall I'm satisfied with it but I don't like how hollow it feels, the acoustics of the controller multiply creaking of buttons in a weird way. The haptic feedback is pretty well done I think, even if it sounds like a creaking door. Customization options are really cool.

Does anyone know how the licensing works for the Valve Family and Friends pack? Do you get new games when they're released or are they added to your account when they're available for preorder.
