http://world.std.com/~reinhold/diceware.html This is my go-to for generating passwords I need remembered.
And a password manager is probably a good idea.
You can't refund the games individually in a four pack, so if someone wanted a refund, all four copies would have to be refunded.
Honestly, I really would like to see a solution made to this
The HTC Vive has been delayed to April-ish because Valve have apparently made "a very, very big technological breakthrough" that justified skipping the first version and skipping to that one. We'll learn more at CES.

How unfortunate that the delay happened. Would've been a wonderful birthday gift to a relative of mine.

I wonder if it's one that will bring that cost down, or if it'll make the peripheral more powerful or add some new function.
What the the steam beta have right now that the main steam branch doesn't? Exporting controller configs are currently broken in the beta
What the the steam beta have right now that the main steam branch doesn't? Exporting controller configs are currently broken in the beta
The ability to not be able to play a few sources games without crashing and or slow downs.
The ability to not be able to play a few sources games without crashing and or slow downs.
Like left 4 dead 2? I've been trying to get them controller working for a while with it but it hasn't been cooperating
Like left 4 dead 2? I've been trying to get them controller working for a while with it but it hasn't been cooperating
L4D2, TF2, CS:GO are three that I know have been affected.
Damnit, and here I was hoping I wouldn't have to give anymore money to EBGames...
The Steam store page for the controller in Canada just links to EB Games so I have a feeling Valve partnered with them. It might be exclusive for quite some time
fuuuuck ty [editline]adf[/editline] Deleted FUCKING EVERYTHING in my inbox, changed my passwords for both Steam and Gmail, wrote the passwords down (and then scribbled over them for good measure) and I'm going to keep them safe somewhere. STAY OUT OF MY SHIT, FUCKERS.
"Fear me" is *acting fearful as shit*
"Fear me" is *acting fearful as shit*
Cold War in a nutshell.
What the fuck? Why can't I launch Steam? I click the .exe and nothing happens. I already reinstalled 3 times, what the fuck is this shit.
What the fuck? Why can't I launch Steam? I click the .exe and nothing happens. I already reinstalled 3 times, what the fuck is this shit.
Running as administrator helped me a few times.
Yeah steam has been quite poopy lately, if I run it normal it doesn't work (if there is update that needs to be installed it will just go and loop as running exe and never proceed to do anything) and if I run it administrator it somehow claims it has to use compatibility mode, no idea why but it still doesn't seem to affect Steam at all negatively.

Nothing worked, goddamnit. I guess I'm reinstalling again. Oh wow, now my steamapps doesn't even want to copy. Every time I do so, the output folder appears empty. Any solutions?
portal 2 crashes immediately and google has no solutions (yes i've validated yes i've installed dx9) [t]http://i.imgur.com/0GoejVn.gif[/t] [editline]22nd December 2015[/editline] downloading latest drivers though i doubt drivers that are a month newer will make a difference [editline]22nd December 2015[/editline] wow restarting steam fixed it
Is there going to be a winter sale this year? Thought it started around this time.
Is there going to be a winter sale this year? Thought it started around this time.
Approximately 20 hours
About the Steam Controller, why didn't Valve highlight the gyroscope more in all of its marketing? They seemed so focused on the new trackpads but fuck, using the gyroscope to help with aiming in third or first person shooters is like a goddamn revelation. I can actually play games like Counter Strike decent enough, even online. I've played CS:GO for about 6 hours now, solely by using the Steam Controller and I am getting pretty good at it. I am using settings where the right trackpad functions as a mouse with trackball, and using the gyroscope with a much lower sensitivity helps me with micro-aiming. So it's like you can quickly turn by using the normal trackpad but if you want to aim, you just move to the general direction of the target and finish with the gyro aim. I mean, m+kb will always be better but after using it for a while, I can actually compete in online matches. Maybe not for first place, but still above average.

Trackpads are a the first, of not a very rare thing to ever see implemented into something like this, so the impact on the consumer has a larger affect in advertising because it stands out as a product

Personally, I wasn't even aware of any other controllers with a gyroscope feature and I am guessing I am not the only one. On a semi-related note, does anyone experience frame drops after like 15 minutes of gaming, using Big Picture Mode? I play CS:GO fine for the first 10-15 minutes with a frame rate of 130-150 fps. After that, it immediately drops to ~40. Also happens in other games when using Big Picture Mode. Using the normal Steam Client, everything's fine

The fact only fifteen games are on a week-long sale makes me fairly sure that the Steam sales are starting today
Oh fuck I'm gonna be poor unless of course it's just the same shit on sale again
cool shit I'm actually ready for it this year
