I like the new system. You don't have to bite your nails wondering "Will that game go on flash sale or should I get it now?". Not to mention, with new refund policy there would be tons of refunds for Valve to handle because people would buy games that would have recieved further discounts.
I don't. It's very well likely a placebo, but I can't help but feel that the discounts aren't as big, being constant throughout. I feel as if we're getting smaller discounts that are constant, rather than short, big discounts.
I didn't look through it enough to firmly determine that, though.
Got myself Lego Marvel Heroes

This is what I think happened. I think that with the refund system people kept getting refunds when their games went on sale the next day, and then bought the game again. So Valve said, "Fuck it, static prices all the way." This way the customer doesn't have to worry about refunds and getting the best deal, and Valve's system and support staff don't need to worry about unnecessary strain. Less fun, but more practical.
Reddit is reaching for an ARG. They have very little to show for it yet. I remember when the Portal ARG came to this site, it was pretty wild.
Reddit is watching for an ARG every time Valve so much as sneezes.
I'm so glad I already got all the games I need tbh
RMA'd a 970 and bought another. Fried all three SD/HD's and had to buy another pair AND windows 10. Literally cannot afford that crap right now.
This is all ignoring the fact that I want both a scooter and an oculus rift.
steam sale can eat a butt

I'm glad GTA V runs so well, I was scared it would run pretty badly on my 5 year-old machine.

GTA 4 has this weird regressive optimization with hardware, where the older the computer is the better it runs
wonder if that's the same for 5

GTA4 runs like shit on every PC and GTA5 is very well optimized.
On both my PC and notebook GTA 5 runs a lot worse than 4, to the point of actually being unplayable. It is true that 4 is not well optimized, but at the very least the framerate is much more stable.
Is there a better way to look at community presets? Like why is there no search bar.
Also is there a way to update a preset rather than having to make a new one then delete the old one?
If I buy shit through the wallet with funds I get from selling trading cards, would I still be able to refund the game?
If I buy shit through the wallet with funds I get from selling trading cards, would I still be able to refund the game?
You should be able also there is no system that some how would count was it bought with money made from market or not.
I'm wondering if I should get Squad or Rainbow Six: Siege. Which is better?

Yep, I've refunded a game bought with 100% market money before
oh god the servers are down
script to get rid of all 36 daily "Not Interested" for the free cards if you hate every game on steam but the ones you own

Still "mystery card 3" in the market.

When I buy it, will it replace Holly?
EDIT: It did.
I guess it is somewhat tricky to replace/update existing market items info with another, like for example you can still search "mystery card 2" and find it but going to the item will change it to "Zippy's Demise".
Is the store/search down for anyone else? I can open the front page but that's about it.
I don't know what is wrong.
I can't sign on steam even thought I'm already logged on. Also can't add funds at the moment.
are steam servers suffering from high traffic or something?
Edit: It's working now but my payment gets cancelled after entering my card's data :/
I haven't had my Steam Link long but I already got a "Hardware Malfunction" BSOD.
I just wanted to play Skullgirls.
So no Fable Anniversary?
I'm seriously risking buying Ryse
I'm an Ancient Roman Empire fanboy
I thought Fable Anniversary was amazing. I played the original so many times on the Xbox and playing the remake was so good. I don't understand. My wife, who never played it thought it was great too. What's wrong with it?

a lot of people think the art style and controls got fucked
So, if I may rephrase my question, is Fable good? Bioware-ish?
So apparently my steam controllers receipt doesn't have a code for the games on it, woo.. At least I'm not that interested in csgo compared to the rocketleague bundle when it first came out.

Well I loved it. The only thing that bothered me was the menu. The controls can be a little confusing at first but it's not bad. I think it's a almost perfect remake
