There's only so many times you can experience every path in a game, then you're left with memories and emotion that fades gradually into nothing. It leaves a sort of pseudo-vacuum in your soul, at least that's what it feels like to me. I'll probably never experience something in the same class as Undertale, that can make me experience such strong emotion. I'm gonna go spam Toby to hurry up and finish hardmode now:doghidden:

I'm gonna go spam Toby to hurry up and finish hardmode now:doghidden:[/QUOTE] Tbh it pretty much happens with nearly everything in my life, recently i went to ecuador for 2 weeks and it was one of the most amazing experiences in my life, there wasnt a single day where was remotely sad, or " down " or anything, I come back to my country feeling really good, excited and well... time passes and eventually even that starts just fading away and i just hate that i try my best to remember how i felt at these times and i cant.. Now i dont really pay attention to this but undertale had such a positive impact in my life that i refuse to let that fade too So it really makes me sad that even if i try my best i barely "feel" anything again.. Alright enough ranting / venting

I can understand that pretty well. I don't want it to fade either. I still got my hopes, and I don't want to let go of them.

Good things like that will always stay with you and feelings like that aren't as rare as one may think. Maybe once hard mode is done then those feelings can be reattained; I image it will be a long while and that the game will have more changes to it aside from it just being more difficult, maybe not radically different but enough so it will be familiar yet new, like meeting an old friend you've not seen in awhile.

In my opinion no one should get this mad over something like that, and if you can't help it then you should avoid reading any comments/messages/stuff people write to you (sans important stuff obviously). those animations are stuff he does himself, he doesn't really need to look at his video's comments. I don't think he was expecting constructive criticism nor do I think it's necessary to confirm if people like the video by reading the comments when the like counter and views thing exists. If he was mostly trying to see what people think I'm afraid he was bound to stumble upon spoilers and the likes. and when you deliver something that someone really likes people are bound to annoy you to no end to get more of it. If the fanbase is being really fucking annoying then it's perfectly reasonable to stop producing content for it. "giving up" is hardly applicable here, he's still going to be animating, just nothing Undertale related.
