So is it confirmed to be a ToS violation then? or does Gilvasunner only knows as much as we do in regards to GiIvasunner's thing? GabrielWB posted this in the other thread: So yeah, looks like it.
I have a question regarding routes/endings What are all the requirement for the [sp]pacifist ending? Do you have to just not kill anyone, or can you never cause damage to anything? Do you have to "fight" and spare every enemy/boss in the game?[/sp]

But you can also spare them without doing this via ACTing so I'd suggest just not touching the FIGHT button at all (not that it makes a difference unless something dies)[/sp]

It's a neat idea though.
I found out about a Storyshift inspired AU, and it seems pretty good so far. It'd start with a simple change, all the way back in 201X. [sp]Instead of Asriel absorbing Chara's soul after they died, Asriel rejects his best friend's plan, believing there had to be another way. However, Chara ends up possessing Asgore instead, and manipulates him into crossing the barrier with Chara's body. Asgore returns alone, carrying a red rose, a white rose, and a haunted look in his eyes, before he collapses, his dust scattering across the throne room. Asriel continues living in this timeline, mourning his father and his best friend, and ends up as an "apprentice" of the Royal Scientist at his mother's behest, with Toriel's hopes being that the pursuit of science would divert her son from the path of madness that she thought had driven her husband to disappear like he did (in a way, it's similar to the upbringing of Ada Lovelace). Asriel grows up learning from his mentor, but never lets go of his belief that there was another way to break the barrier.[/sp] [sp]The humans fall into the Ruins as they did in the other timelines, though this time around they are instead brought to the Lab for testing purposes, in order to discern the true nature of humanity and the soul. However, Asriel found some of his mentor's methods of "testing" to be objectionable, and after the accidental death of the Sixth Human, "the Cook", during a particularly intense test, the queen has the Royal Scientist exiled for his crimes. Soon after, the Seventh Human, referred to as "the Gunslinger", enters the Underground, searching for the Cook. It is only once the Gunslinger reaches the Lab and encounters Asriel, who at this point has been appointed Royal Scientist, that the Cook's death is revealed. The Gunslinger does not take his friend's death well, and proceeds to go on a revenge-fuelled rampage. Despite Toriel's efforts to calm down the vengeful human, she is killed trying to protect her people and her son.[/sp] [sp]At this point, Asriel has lost his entire family. Humanity had taken away everyone he ever loved. Despite trying for so long to disregard Chara's world view, staring down the barrel of a gun convinced Asriel that, at this point in time, it was indeed kill or be killed. He barely manages to kill the Gunslinger, using his own gun against him, and the act haunts him for the rest of his life. He still keeps the Empty Gun as a focus for his fire magic, though has never used it since that fateful day, and prays that he will never need to. Regardless, it becomes his symbol of office as ruler of the Underground, inheriting the throne from his deceased mother. However, Asriel rejects the title of "King" and instead retains the title of Royal Scientist, merging the two positions as his first act on the throne. Under the rule of Doctor Asriel, the kingdom experiences a heavy focus on scientific research, and multiple "Doctors" are appointed to head various research projects, each one pursuing a different method of escaping the Underground. The remaining humans die of old age as the years roll on, and their souls are collected by Asriel, who lends them to the different Doctors when their research requires human souls.[/sp] Many years pass, and eventually the old Doctors pass the torch on to the next generation, though the new Doctors falter in the shadows of their larger-than-life predecessors. Doctor Alphys' experiments with [sp]DT[/sp] lead her to become a nervous recluse, afraid of [sp]what dwells in the True Lab[/sp]. Doctor Sans makes a nightmarish discovery about [sp]the nature of reality[/sp], causing him to end up as the apathetic layabout we know in the main game. Doctor Undyne seems to be the only one who hasn't lost her passion, but her sloppy methods and bull-headed determination mean that her plans for the "Ultimate Barrier Buster Sword" rarely get past being unstable prototypes before she goes back to the drawing board. Papyrus still aspires to join the Royal Guard and work with Doctor Undyne, though he's stuck in his brother's dead-end project as an assistant at the Snowdin Lab. As a result, his puzzles have taken on some rather odd properties. And as for Doctor [sp]Asriel[/sp], his time has been taken up with the other major problems facing his kingdom, his research efforts drawn away from the end-goal of destroying the Barrier. But at the back of his mind, he knows that all he needs is one more soul. One more soul, and he could break the barrier himself. One more soul, and everyone would be free. He knew this. But even if another human came, he could never bring himself to take their soul in cold blood. But unbeknowenst to him, there were others who could... At this point, the player falls into the Underground, landing on a bed of red roses. They encounter two talking roses, the red [sp]"Thorney"[/sp] and the white [sp]"Floriel"[/sp], and would have fallen prey to them were it not for their bickering, and the intervention of an elderly monster in a waistcoat. The shadow of a highly-modified Ruins looms over you. The sounds of rusty clockwork, coupled with the patient gaze of the Watchmaker, fills you with determination.

I really want to see this play out. [sp]also I want to see art work of Thorney and Floriel.[/sp]
Another thing is that due to their now being two flowers in this particular "branch", [sp]the pre-Frisk reign of reset-based terror would be even more insane this time around. It'd probably end up being more of a contest between the "reigning carnations" of the King and Queen.[/sp] Not to mention, they'd probably be hunting you throughout the entire adventure.
That's some good setting and setup. Try writing a script for a pacifist ending, would be fun to read given that the content in this thread has seemed to really dwindle.
I think If you post this AU idea to /r/undertale, you could get a lot of people behind it.

I have a few ideas for it, but I'll need to make the time to flesh it all out. Don't expect much writing progress before the weekend, though. Got a bunch of kitchen work taking up tomorrow and Friday.

So yeah, I made a light introductory post on the subreddit, giving some small outline to the AU I'm planning. I've settled on the name "DoctorTale" due to the Science! themes, and will add entries as and when I finish them. Hopefully I'll be able to put out Entry 1 this weekend, once I'm approved for an "archiveofourown" account. https://www.reddit.com/r/Undertale/comments/4dr223/doctortale_an_au_where_science_rules_will_contain/ I dunno if I'll have much luck on the subreddit, but it's early days yet.
I don't know why I wasted 20 minutes making this. EDIT: Actually I remember why now. It was because I noticed that the Snowdin's Showkeeper's head looks very similar to Sans' so I tried to see if I could do a face swap between the two. Although Sans's skull proportions are off compared to the Shopkeeper's (his bulges are more pronounced and generally fatter), their relative sizes are nearly the same, with Sans' being wider and taller by a few pixels. By the way, does the Shopkeeper even have a name? All of the other shopkeepers are named, but I don't recall seeing hers.
For some reason I get a "Nyeeeeeehm, what's up doc?" from this. No idea why. Also I feel like I'm making decent progress on Entry 1: Ruins 1. The first two characters you meet should seem oddly familiar, although the third is a bit more "original".
