underfell is the worse thing to come from the Undertale fandom if we are going to be honest
It essentially is the exact opposite of what Undertale is about, and is so unoriginal (LETS MAKE EM SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS).
I know it only has been, what, 7 months? But, going back listening to the original soundtracks only brought me... painful memories.
Months of looking at fan content kind of diluted my conception of the game's trait, as if I remembered the wrong game; the theme lost in time and translation...
I guess this is just nostalgia talking. But, man, 7 months isn't that long ago.
Every time I remember that "Song That Might Play When You Fight Sans" isn't actually in the game I die a little inside, and then when I realize that it's never going to get any major covers because of it not actually being in the game, I just become a hollowed out, soulless carcass.

I feel like the [sp]power of friendship type of ending[/sp] itself isn't necessarily much different from others like it, it just does a much better job providing some meaning behind it through the player's choices actually reflecting it. It doesn't feel forced; your actions prior to it give it meaning. That's where others fall flat, giving the player that ending for just completing the game just feels meaningless, the player doesn't feel involved in the moment at all, unless the characters actually happened to particularly engross the player on their own.
I really hope some game developers/designers have taken notes from Undertale and don't just shrug it off as being popular for no reason. There is a lot of good design, especially in regard to player choice, that improves upon established norms and can be borrowed from.
Alright guys. Cap up the cheese whiz and wipe off your toes, 'cause it's time for another chapter of [B]DoctorTale[/B]. But of course, someone has to try and keep them from leaving...
Hopefully this one won't be too heavy, but it's the last we'll see of the Ruins for quite a while.

I actually can recall another piece that placed the rune on the eyepatch before rafaknight as well, but I suppose so. It does seem like a nice idea.
