Whenever I play Muffet's boss battle I always expect the [URL="https://youtu.be/7WDFUcjWARU?t=31"]second half[/URL] of the song to play whenever her pet arrives.

Idk why that is.[/QUOTE] It's pretty obvious that those were the first two major fights that Toby created and he didn't backtrack to touch up old content in favor of polishing the late-game as he progressed. The Ruins looking the same as they were 2 years ago is another remnant of such progression.

Papyrus and Toriel not being animated though is a different story, most monsters aren't animated at all until close to hotland where they step up a bit.

Hotland? Every monster except dummy is animated to some extent though.

Now that I think about it how come nobody ever bothered to do a comic about Flowey's shenanigans before the child showed up? It would be interesting see him interact with the other characters other than the player. In the game he barely speaks to anyone else besides you. It would be interesting to see he's adventures messing around with the reset power.

Oh my god, I just realized something that is complete fridge heartwarming. At the end of pacifist, [sp]when Toriel starts texting you while goofing around with Sans, she sends you the following (Toriel sent you a message.) Fwd: send this 2 some1 u care about... or a skeleton will rattle his bones at u! As funny and adorable as this is, I just realized, it's a forward and obviously wasn't written by her. Meaning the most likely person to have sent her that is Sans. Meaning, in his own way, Sans was just telling Toriel he cares about her and AAAA THAT'S SO CUTE AND ADORABLE I WANT TO HUG SANS SO BAD[/SP]

Halfway through the video where (what I'm assuming is DSP) argues that he chooses to play it the way he wants to on his blind run, and I agreed, but whoever was in charge of editing clearly doesn't like it when people play the game "wrong", and I felt they were being more of a crybaby than DSP. Of course the main issue about not going full pacifist on your first run, especially as a youtuber is that you'll have to replay the whole game to get the other ending, but I don't think it justifies the way people are reacting to them.
