If she wasn't a knight, she'd be a GREAT pirate.
Drown me in clocks if this is a late discovery, but I just thought of something in Genocide run.
[sp]When fighting Sans, he becomes visibly exhausted, and at first, I thought it was sweat forming on his forehead.
But then I got thinking, what if it's him melting a bit because he's getting too determined?[/sp]
This is probably something that was figured out ages ago, but I wanted to be sure and decided to ask from here. Like said, rate late mate if so.
Well, it's that time again. Another chapter of DoctorTale for your general interest.
Spent quite a while making sure I got a good enough impression of early Snowdin. After all, It Helps To Be In The Snow once you exit the Ruins.

Here we go! Undertale Part 4!
The fun with Sans and Papyrus continues as we make our way further through Snowdin mountains, but will their puzzles manage to stop us this time?

i mean sure he'd be living the same life again and again but hey it's a pretty good one, at the cost of a couple days hard work every 7 or 8 decades

From what I can understand [sp]Determination can be overridden by someone with more of it, since Flowey couldn't save/load while Frisk was down there until he got the souls and Frisk couldn't save/load/reset while fighting Omega Flowey or Asriel. I assume that would mean Frisk can't save/load/reset around other humans.[/sp]

If you can do [sp]Genocide Undyne[/sp] that'd be cool.

[sp]The immense Determination Frisk gets is granted by the entity known as the player, if all humans possessed the kind of determination that Frisk shows, then Chara's plan would have succeeded and all monsters would likely know of its inherent ability to screw with time.
It generally explains why a small child is able to effortlessly crush anything in the underground, even a highly trained knight with some determination of her own.
Many of the monsters remark at how remarkably durable and determined you are, even for a human.[/sp]

[sp]Indeed. The determination power of Frisk (and by extension Chara) is only so high because they're possessed by an eldritch horror from beyond their reality. Namely ourselves.[/sp]

[sp]We're practically a reversal of the player's role in Earthbound. Where there we were the ones that essentially gave enough hope to defeat a powerful alien entity turned into a time-destroying mad god, in Undertale we reset and exploit the values of the universe for our own amusement, discovery, and fulfillment. The Pacifist Ending is great and all but we can reset it at any moment just because we felt like playing another run, and the Genocide Ending was entirely our own volition until Chara yanks the control from us at the very end. It's like Toby pretty much demonstrates what a player who can save and reset a world repeatedly can do to said world, for better or worse, simply to subvert the idea that the player is always benevolent and intending for the good conclusion.[/sp]

[sp]Well technically as long as you're playing the game Frisk is immortal.[/sp]
Asgore update.

I promise we're still working on him. He's just much more complex than Toriel to do.
Yup, coming along VERY nicely. I never expected such definition in his hair and beard...
My only criticism, and it's a nitpick at that, is that he doesn't really look as "old" as one would imagine him to be. But still really good.
Actually, one more nitpick. Maybe have the fangs be a teensy bit further back into the mouth, so that they look more like teeth, rather than part of a beak like he's a turian.
