So yeah, it's been one hell of a month at the moment, but I finally got around to finishing another chapter. This time in DoctorTale, things come to a head with a Battle Against the Chasing Chaos, in which the titular "Chasing Chaos" is acting like a right and proper twat. Now if anyone needs me, I'll be playing Grim Dawn.
Throughout undertale, none of the songs really gave me a sense of "this character is a friend" or "this character is 100% going to help me" as much as Alphys' theme did. Hell, I was suspicious of toriel for her entire part of the game :v:

Same goes for Papyrus, after Snowdin Town I knew he was a good guy. He's kind of like the Ben of Undertale now that I think about it. :v:

Me and a friend got access to that
It's available to everyone. "spaghettilasagna" is the password to access the linux_test Steam beta branch. X and C keys now work and save data is now stored in ~/.config/UNDERTALE_linux_steamver instead of ~/.config/UNDERTALE. Otherwise it plays just as well as the unofficial "copy Game Maker: Studio Linux runner into the same directory with Undertale game files" build. EDIT: The Linux port just went gold after being in beta for about 12 hours or so.
It's finally here.
It made me play through the game again after not touching it for 5 months [sp]I made the trailer for this reason[/sp]
Just played and completed with True Pacifist ending... This game is so fantastic, should've played when it was released! It's better than great, I can't express it!

Appearently GOG added the Linux version of Undertale, 1 day after Steam did.

More Dogs of Future Past, and it looks like they're getting somewhere. http://lynxgriffin.tumblr.com/post/147902187813/back-to-the-past-and-so-a-long-standing-tradition Also, the previous instalment was pretty shocking.

Is this game really worth all the hype?
i tried the game and refunded it. why do ppl like it so much, I seriously can't get into this super typical jrpg stuff... only series I break that for is hyperdimension neptunia for... reasons.

How far in did you get, anyways? How much of a chance did you really give it, in the end?
i tried the game and refunded it. why do ppl like it so much, I seriously can't get into this super typical jrpg stuff... only series I break that for is hyperdimension neptunia for... reasons.
Wh... What?
i tried the game and refunded it. why do ppl like it so much, I seriously can't get into this super typical jrpg stuff... only series I break that for is hyperdimension neptunia for... reasons.
I'm sure the 3 1/2 minutes you played were utterly horrendous :v:
i tried the game and refunded it. why do ppl like it so much, I seriously can't get into this super typical jrpg stuff... only series I break that for is hyperdimension neptunia for... reasons.
He's right though, I hate Undertale's cliched JRPG mechanics. I mean come on, the giant hub cities that take an hour to walk through, the overly complex party system with character classes, the skill grinding, not to mention the convoluted story with characters that the game assumes you're going to like, the hamfisted romance with the oversexualized party members... How trite can you get.
Yeah thinking about it I don't even know why I made myself slog through it all. The characters are all 2-dimentional, the combat is unimaginative and the final boss is a joke. [sp]But seriously though you should give the game another chance, maybe try not to kill everything in sight.[/sp]
Somebody get some goose fat to rub on these potatoes, 'cause somebody's getting roasted over this.
i tried the game and refunded it. why do ppl like it so much, I seriously can't get into this super typical jrpg stuff... only series I break that for is hyperdimension neptunia for... reasons.
Typical? Undertale is one of the most atypical jrpg out there. In fact, it criticizes most of the elements that typical jrpgs have in funny and unique ways.
Triple what now?
