I'm afraid of that video from the title alone.

Finally got this new chapter edited for DoctorTale. A chapter that asks some Burning Questions. Questions such as "is Frisk going crazy?", "could Julian look any more like an anime?", and "what the hell is Syrinx?".
I bought the vinyl for my friend's birthday who loves both undertale and vinyl albums, hopefully he enjoys it!
(I'm also pretty sure he has no idea it exists, so that's a bonus.)

Just leaving this here
That clearly says 'Badger Song' on the sheet music :dog:

Now I'm not SUPER into Undertale, but I certainly am with records. Where can I get em?
E: Great, I want that annoying dog single, but I'm short on cash until AFTER the fifth. :suicide:

11 days to the anniversary

I can't believe it's been a year already..

I cant believe the game has gotten 0 content updates over a whole year. Feels like its time is gonna pass if nothing happens for the anniversary
I still love Toby but him dropping the ball on almost all Kickstarter rewards is endlessly frustrating.
No Hardmode, no finished dates, not even the alarm clock.
We can only hope he delivers at least one of these on the anniversary.

Does kickstarter even hold the creators accountable for the stretch goals?
If not i cant see any reason the dev would even WANT to work on them the game made its money.

Here's hoping he does. It'd really suck if the game were marred by such broken promises.
Either way, I think I'll do a Hardmode run once the anniversary hits.

He really doesn't have an excuse for it at all. I mean the game sold exponentially more than anyone had expected so lack of budget can't be an excuse.

'' I spent all the money I got from the Undertales sales on Swiss Chesse. Sorry guys :v:"
Either that, or a wide assortment of silicone bepis.

His excuse has literally just been a roundabout way of saying "Eh, I don't really feel like it."
His excuse has literally just been a roundabout way of saying "Eh, I don't really feel like it."
The only problem with that being that many of these things were promised. In an official sense. Which, yeah, kinda blows that excuse out of the water.
I didn't realise it was almost a year, I think it's fair to wait until the one year anniversary since that would be the most sensible time to release things, and then if there's still nothing new then you can say he really dropped the ball.
That's what I'm hoping, that to mark the first anniversary of his first smash hit, he makes good on all the Kickstarter promises he made, like he should.
But of course, the universe is probably not going to let that happen. Let us not forget that this is 2016, the year that so far has been like stepping on a rake that has a hammer duct-taped onto the end, staggering about blearily, then getting blatted in the face with another rake-hammer, and so-on and so-forth until we've stepped on all the rake-hammers in the darkened tool-shed that is the 21st century.
And the tool-shed is the size of a warehouse. And the hammers are made of wank.
Having the game be exponentially successful might have done more harm than good to him. A larger fanbase means that there's more risk in fan feedback when releasing an update, but toby seems to have the idgaf personality. The other part is that since he's already made it, he doesn't need to go back and update the game.
When a project is mildly successful it makes you strive to work harder because you know someone values your creativity and wants to see more. Ideally its good enough to support yourself while you keep making new things. If you strike gold with the first swing then you skip this step. Sucks for the fans, but gj on toby's end.
We should also consider that anything toby does that isn't Undertale will be met with hostility because its different, and the UT fans feel as though UT is [del]incomplete[/del] unresolved. The more you are pushed to do something, the worse it turns out because it wasn't made under the same circumstances as your best work.
tldr I feel for toby but its been a whole fucking year and the game and its music is still everywhere, throw us a bone pls
I honestly haven't seen anyone who thinks that Undertale is unresolved, beyond people who desperately run around screaming "HOW SAVE GOAT, HOW SAVE GOAT??".
The story is finished, and if anything Toby has said that the next game will not be a direct sequel or prequel to Undertale, but it will essentially be a game with small bits of info/details that connect it to Undertale's universe. So who knows, the game is "shrouded in darkness", so we might get more answers for Gaster and Sans.
And honestly, if those get answered, I can't see any way that the original storyline is unresolved.
The sole thing I would want to update in UT is the Hard mode [sp]with real boss fights like Mettaton NEO[/sp] and maybe some gameplay/graphic updates, like an option to disable the phone, [sp]an option to fully restart from zero if you did the Genocide route instead of doing it with tools[/sp], or improve the terrible fight sprites (like the spears of Undyne while you are running away, or the disco ball of Mettaton).
[sp]an option to fully restart from zero if you did the Genocide route instead of doing it with tools[/sp]
This is actually one of the dumbest request I keep seeing related to the game since [sp]it's a big part of why genocide run is cool and having a feature like that would make absolutely zero sense in the context of the game.[/sp]
Speaking of Genocide...

Make them only appear after a [sp]False Pacifist ending[/sp], as after all you are stuck forever on that. Is rare, but there were people who went first to a geno run rather than a pacific one.
No. Do people who want that shit not just understand the point of it??? [sp]If you do a fucking genocide run first then you've fucked up. The whole point is that there are CONSEQUENCES of doing a genocide run. It's made clear that you're not above them (unless you are a baby and can't accept your fate and wipe the files)[/sp]

These I agree with. I wanna do a pacifist Hard mode with [sp]undying undyne and MTT Neo. And Sans, but make him a joke fight to screw with people.
Also make alphys fightable, and if you spare her in hard mode, there's twice the amount of phone dialogue. True hardcore pacifism challenge right there.[/sp]
Yup. That's the kinda stuff I'd want to see.
