How will this affect Gilvasunner titles [editline]13th September 2016[/editline] I just listened to all the unused tracks. I really want to know what inspired toby to modify UNDERTALE because the in game version is a lot better. The unused track sort of sounds sadder but it soubds more like background music that plays when youre solving a puzzle, like its trying to help you think or something. I also like how Undyne's old theme fit better with the music that first plays when you first meet her talking to Papyrus. The in game version is better but I wouldnt have minded the first version either.

All of those unused tracks are still so fucking on-point, dear lord Toby. I like that the only one without a description is Dog Hole, the one that needs it the most. Also I actually really like that unused Alphys theme. The instrumentation fits a lot more with the feeling of Hotland IMO.

The melody at the beginning of the unused Undyne battle music reminds me of a very specific Pokemon song and I can't remember which one it is. This is going to kill me.

If nothing happens on the 15th I will be extra dissappointed now that weve heard from him and he plans to talk more tomorrow. Maybe it will give more insight as to the minimal news we've recieved. I'm not sure if I should get hyped in the hopes for something and risk the dissappointment all over again or remain cold and bitterly pessimistic/realistic.

I'm honestly happy something like Undertale came out and I had the good sense to try it in the first place. I don't honestly expect anything like it to come out again, but if Toby Fox managed to swing another one out of the park then I'd rather be pleasantly surprised rather than expectantly bitter about it being late or something.

Better than completely nothing at least. I still want something but I just try not to think about it all day, get preoccupied with something and want to get surprised if we actually get it.

Something in me wants the track "Dog Hole" to be an alternate ending where another human falls into Mt. Ebbot only to find it filled to the brim with dogs

The unused Undyne theme would have been fitting for an intermediate battle while she still has the helmet on, before the final one just before Hotland.

I think the funniest part is that toby didn't want the game to be speedrun'd according to the speedrunning communities over the past year. That means toby made bikinidog long before the game was finished and just wanted to have a bikinidog somewhere in the game.
