Well, we'll certainly have a lot of things to ask him. Hopefully we'll get some answers, maybe?
I'm glad he shared how he was dealing with the game's success. He couldn't avoid it even if he wanted to for a whole year. No breaks on the Undertale train

I am surprised that he is surprised that the game reached beyond "niche RPG fans". Granted that the game exploded out of control in popularity, Undertale sort of lends itself to success with its incredibly focused, human-nature, genius-level genre deconstruction and design in the saturated sea of safe-bet power fantasy games, overdone theme. Maybe he's just being modest about it.
Anyways, I look forward to his version of "The Beginner's Guide".

I don't think toby ever promised any more content in the game. Undertale is a finished product stop crying. Curious about the kickstarter shit tho

My only suspicion is that he will release the dog boss fight in the bonus room and that will be the final sendoff for the game. Guess we will find out tomorrow.

On top of that any boss fight only lasts like 5 minutes or less anyway, assuming you beat the boss.
At this point I'm more interested in knowing what song made him change Undertale to the in game version than hoping for content

I like what Toby makes, but his obvious comfort with not delivering any of this stuff, and his overall work ethic drives me up the fucking wall.

Hey, he only said he would not be delivering any "NEW" content for the base game, Kick-starter goals are something a little different.

That said the fact that it's been a year and he hasn't (as far as I know) communicated [I]any [/I]progress towards making good on them is pretty inexcusable.
I like Toby, I love his game, but his handling of that stuff is awful. I was originally bummed I missed the chance to back the game and support it, but now I feel like I dodged a bullet.

He's barely talked about the goals either. I've seen no mention of the alarm clock or the comics.
I'm glad this thread at least is picking up more on his lack of work on the kickstarter goals, I've seen creators go from completely revered to reviled in a few years and if he doesn't start taking things seriously the same thing can happen to him. The fact he answered the patch question with a weird sentence about erasing dreams instead of a clear yes/no doesn't help either, since several people are already interpreting that as there still being a chance.
That being said, he still seems to be humble despite everything, and with undertale as a fandom dying down more and more he shouldn't be constantly exposed to people who idolize him (which is the worst kind of feedback IMO).

I hope someone modestly grills him on the kickstarter goals during the ask box if nothing else happens tomorrow. Could be optimistic and say that releasing stuff from the kickstarter goals is the fun part of tomorrow. And if you want to be delusional AND optimistic, "Please erase all of the dreams within your mind" will be the title of the DLC. On another note, Toby gets up uncomfortably early, like 7am, and then posts on tumblr. It scares me. How am I supposed to get the latest information if he posts while I'm sleeping?

what confuses me and probably others is that if he really isn't planning more undertale games/expansions, then why is some stuff totally unexplained for no reason. I mean yeah there's stuff like Gaster and Sans which is mysterious but still coherent enough to get the gist of, and frankly I'm fine with, but then there's also stuff like [url=http://undertale.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:Virgalyssa/Messing_around_with_Fun_Values_-_Suzy]this[/url] which has no explanation or purpose, but is clearly meant to be important since it's got the yellow highlighting. A patch even edited that encounter to clarify you can't solve this 'today'. If this wasn't meant to be a hint of future content then idk what the point of it was lol.
I was gonna dig up Toby's tweet about Suzy but it looks like he deleted it. So maybe he did plan for something more with this, but then changed his mind later on. Either way I guess we'll find out what the deal is soon enough.

The thing about that "shrouded in darkness" game is... well, he directly mentioned it when talking about how "With this amount of money, I will be able to show you more of Undertale's world and characters".
There might not be a DLC, or a patch for Undertale, but that doesn't mean stuff like Suzy or Gaster won't be expanded upon in this other game.
