More to the point that he says [sp]he's done everything a million times over, just like the player, and despite him wishing that something new and different would happen so that he could have more fun, he knows that it simply won't be. The world is all that it is, and nothing more, all that stuff[/sp] Kind of a huge message in the story that additional content would utterly destroy the point of, imo

I decided to have the album playing in the background and its full of different remixes that are pretty hype. Its a blend of any songs/motifs and people just go to town with it.

Its been a long day at my own fault. I'm just gonna lay down for a bit and stop checking this thread and social media like I have been all day.

Since it's been a year since the game was released we got some tweets and posts from the creator, like never-heard-before unused songs, which sparked a bit of life into this thread. We were also discussing the matter of forgotten Kickstarter promises and hoping for an update for the game (which was confirmed to not be happening)

yeah that japanese compilation album is really fantastic. finally finished it. there was 4 songs I didn't like (2 dubstep and 2 that had these prolonged bouts of blasting static wtf) but the rest are really good. the finale in particular is fucking ace:

you really have to respect toby's integrity.

if anyone, ANYONE else released a small indie game, their [i]first[/i] small indie game, mind you, and it reached undertales level of popularity, i have no doubts they would want to make dlc and sequels upon sequels for it... coughfnafcough, and, yknow what, i don't blame them. not just for the money, for pleasing their fans too. if toby wanted to take undertale and make it a franchise, i would not have any problem with that, with how much the game has helped me and gave me hope, it's creator deserves all the money in the world and then some.

but, toby said no, toby made undertale as a once in a lifetime experience and he's keeping it that way. he's staying true to his vision, and he's staying humble. i DO hope to see more content from him in the future, but if it's not undertale i will be content with that.

i just, i love this game, and i can't thank toby fox enough for making something that helped me through my issues, that made me feel wholey amazed, terrifed, and [i]loved[/i] at the same time.

hopes and dreams still makes me cry whenever i listen to it, so much so i don't have it on my undertale playlist i listen to while im working, even though i love the song.

sometimes, i wish the game didn't get popular, that people wouldn't just scoff at it due to it's popularity, but at the same time, if it didn't get popular it wouldn't have reached out so much.

thank you for the amazing game, and happy birthday, undertale, this fandom has been a wild ride.
