Strange... I tend to do stuff like that too, although I have no idea why I do it. I honestly have no idea if I'm depressed, or if this is just who I am. (half the time I don't know what I'm feeling, I'll be honest) I'm definitely nuts though. The images I get sometimes seem like fair enough evidence.
Unless you feel like dying, keep wondering if people would be any different if you never existed, or if someone would notice if you died right here and now, Then probably not depression. Maybe some other supressed emotion, though, or maybe you just like making jokes, idk. [editline]16th February 2016[/editline]
those tootsie rolls look like something completely different
It's a trap!
That's certainly a load off of my chest. Now all I have to worry about is being nuts in general.
That's certainly a load off of my chest. Now all I have to worry about is being nuts in general.
You should get to work on cracking this case
Don't worry, almond myself just fine.
IMO I think Underfell COULD work as a concept for Undertale. A World where monsters have grown to hate the humans for banishing them to the Underground while they get to be the top dogs on the surface world. You just need to get really creative with their character designs and personalities instead of painting everyone with black. Also I can't be the only one that enjoys the meeky and kind Flowey from this version.

The idea of Papyrus having a wife is just really funny to me for some reason.
Was thinking of just recording myself doing a genocide run, I feel like undertale is a good game for things like that because you can see other's perception and view on some of the debatable things. It's probably saturated but I'm not really interested in becoming some internet star I just like being social and stuff Would anyone watch that? it'd probably be just raw footage cut into a few episodes. It'll be spoilers obviously. I've done a little YouTube before and I think I'm pretty interesting (not to pat myself on the back) also doing voice overs of the characters is fun
A lot of things that sucked could work well, it's all in the execution. For instance, Ryse: Son of Rome could have worked if it wasn't so mechanically dull. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 could have worked if it wasn't just a shameless "we gotta put out a new game to keep the license" broken dull cash-grab by Activision. All in how you go about making it happen.
Huh. found this AU seems like it could be interesting... Spoilers http://imgur.com/a/mvYxl
I want an AU where everyone is a snow poff
I want an AU where everyone is a snow poff
Pacifist run: check all snow poffs Neutral run: check some snow poffs Genocide run: check no snow poffs
Huh. found this AU seems like it could be interesting... Spoilers http://imgur.com/a/mvYxl
I had an idea similar to that some time ago, though this person has a much better take on it.
Strange... I tend to do stuff like that too, although I have no idea why I do it. I honestly have no idea if I'm depressed, or if this is just who I am. The images I get sometimes seem like fair enough evidence.
Oh you're not nuts, you're just transitioning though to stage 3. Brit Run on tea and alcohol, emit bad Humour and gumpiness and tend to take a more emotionally reserved stance on things... Stage one is that extra cup of tea every day, stage two is regular trips to the pub to drink, joke and expel grump. Now at every point in a Brits life... they will suddenly go Evil, it may happen early, or may take some time but in %100 of cases every Englander will turn Evil. This process is not well understood (mostly as people studying it go evil about halfway though and start building death rays) This is stage three, it begins to manifest as minor eccentric behaviour and personality quirks, humour taking a more outlandish or darker tone and a sudden desire for finer and more reserved tastes in alcohol and tea. (I already brew tea the proper way in a pot and splash out on a nice bottle of scotch every so often) To the outside observer one might think you are stating to go mad, but it won't be long... not long at all. I bet you've already got that one spot, perhaps in the garden or kitchen, or perhaps your place of work or somewhere you frequently pass by every day. "That's just the last place they'd expect the entrance to my secret base to be" I bet you've sat and though for a while about how well you'd rule the world, or what you'd do with near infinite money, or perhaps the viability of re-fitting a tank to be your chauffeur driven staff car. (Protip: British tanks come equipped with a boiling vessel, essentially a large kettle so tea can be made on the go... and making water safe to drink but that's just a bonus.) Ever tried rehearsing your evil laugh? It's surprisingly fun, in any case based on what mannerisms I can identify you have a few years before you pass the threshold. If you have someone picked out as your "Number Two" you have but a matter of weeks, best get your nefarious machinations in motion.

On the topic of characters we don't like, maybe i'm alone in this but i really don't think Papyrus is all that great. His single defining trait was being childish/sheltered/naive, and it really goes nowhere. The only time he shows anything beyond that is when [sp]undyne lives on his couch after you kill a few people, and she's all depressed over not doing anything to stop you[/sp], and even then it's simply him [sp] not understanding what death is[/sp]. In a game where even background characters have real depth, he feels really out of place for me, and his only real purposes in the story are to play up Undyne and as motivation for Sans during the genocide run. All the characters start out as archetypes, but they all develop into something bigger and better using that stock shape as a base, and Papyrus just doesn't. No arc, no progression, nothing. And i find this all the more obvious next to Sans, who also starts out as a seemingly one note "funny" character but obviously goes all over the place depending on what you do. I feel like Toby had intended more or had more or just couldn't make what he had work properly. Or maybe some of what was intended for Pap eventually was worked into Sans, since they're so similar at the start, or maybe it was all very deliberate to further highlight how peculiar Sans is. iunno
sometimes i wonder if [sp]sans and papyrus are themselves pieces of gaster when he got scattered, representing parts of his personality[/sp]

Late to the 'dislike characters' discussion but I wanted to say something about Mettaton regarding the morals(obvious bias on my part with my avatar). The fountain scenario didn't really occur to me. It's pretty messed up, but I wouldn't say that makes me like the guy any less. Characters don't exactly have to be morally high to be likable, is there a word for that? When I was going through Hotland and the CORE, I gotta say the scenarios that played out with that lovable robot was probably the funnest part of the game for me. All the frantic mini games and super star glamour acting was fabulous~ With the Muffet topic, she has some great music and design, but I just didn't have enough to be interested in her. There's little development or info to follow through and interact with her, she just felt like some boss to pass by. There's nothing wrong with that, and she's a cool character! I'm just surprised she got such a following with how little importance she held. That's not to say story significance determines if a character can be liked.

I forgot what exactly it was about that scene, but it really changed how I viewed him. I think he's a bit more deliberate and self-aware than he puts on. Not to emo laugh-to-hide-the-pain levels, but I don't think he's a complete fool.[/sp]
