They got mad because not only is a game they've never played before judging kicking Smash Bros Melee's ass, but guessing correctly resulted in being awarded prizes.
And GameFAQs doesn't know how games like this work, you don't vote for YOUR favorite game, you vote for the game that you THINK is gonna win.
They underestimated how much a single spike in current popularity can sway votes. It didn't help that they brought a lot of attention to the pole by reacting so negatively.

I can't wait to see what happens if Undertale actually gets that 3DS/Wii-U port that's been discussed.

My favorite part was when they all accused Undertale of rallying for votes at first, then later told people to start rallies on other sites to vote against it.

To be honest the only reason you last so long in Undertale is because of your soul's strength. If any of the monsters would attack you physically you wouldn't last a second, given that you're a small child.

This is a very specific nitpick but it really irritates me when the melody starting at 0:33 is missing a bunch of notes from the original. Hard to explain in text, but if you listen to the original about 2/3rds of the notes in that initial part of the melody are missing.
So many remixes and covers miss those notes and it bugs me. That's why the [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4IxBW_LLWI]Gooseworx[/url] cover is my favorite because it actually has them.

IIRC, the current leading theory is that since Sans is a skeleton, and thus can't move his mouth, his diet is strictly regulated to condiments and other miniscule foods.

Well you gotta keep in mind monsters are made almost entirely out of magic, not physical matter, so with some exceptions like Undyne and... pretty much Undyne, they'd be pretty shit in the physical strength department.
I think I've gathered enough courage to do a genocide run.
