I probably wouldn't go that far. The way I imagine it, Alphys is the Otacon of the underground, while Gaster was more "Manhattan Project/Old Guard" in style and sensibilities. Sort of a "J. Bob Oppenheimer" in comparison to Alphys' errant "Rusty Venture" approach to superscience.
I don't imagine Gaster being a malevolent type, but the video was well done regardless. It showed an interpretation of the character you don't see often, if at all.
Maybe it's just plain desperation on his part, he wants out of his predicament at any costs.

So, I was in physics class, and told to describe a problem where the rotation of an object would be zero.
The first example that came to my head was "a dog tethered upwards by a string." :dog:
But an object tethered upwards would be able to rotate. Something like a metal beam fixated into a wall wouldn't rotate, given that there's a reaction moment about the fixation.
Unless I'm reading the problem wrong
I think I've got it.
If you took four tethers, attached one to each of the dog's legs, and then strung each one to a respective corner of the ceiling, it would stabilize the dog, making it impossible for rotation.
Might be forgetting some factors though.

Nope, you can still get rotation that way, via Force couples causing moment around the dog's center of mass
If the dog is on earth, it will keep rotating along with the planet.
I'm no minecraft fan but darn does this require some determination.

If you turn the dog into dust then it won't be able to rotate anymore as a dog thus halting its rotation.
You can borrow my knife to test that theory.
