This fight seriously cannot decide what it wants to be. So many mechanics are just haphazardly shoved in here. Gaster Blasters, orange/blue lasers, shooting stuff, the [i]coloured tile puzzle[/i], a DDR-pad-style movement system, the rewinding...[/QUOTE]
Yeah, honestly I loved the way the author used the reverse and speed up thing from the mettaton fight to the fullest with even the music going back and forth. I could even feel the tension during that last wave of attacks with [sp] Alphys slowly melting away [/sp]
Pretty creative. The only thing I didn't like was the Gaster Blasters. [sp] Not only does It feel out of place It makes no sense for her to have it. Besides Sans and Gaster himself no one else should be able to do that. Is like giving Undyne's energy spears to Monster Kid.[/sp]

Pretty much every fan made fight seems to have to up the ante over [sp]sans[/sp] simply because that one is the hardest and %90 of these alternate fights are "hard mode genocide" fan fights.
I can get the logic but playing the "harder that [sp]sans[/sp] by way of more bullet hell" card does get kinda tiring. Come up with something a little more unique, something that doesn't conform to standard game mechanics.

Every Spooktune remix I here, I imagine that Napsta made it himself and it makes it so much better
Regarding the Alphys fight I thought it was weird how [sp]In the pacifist final battle all of her attacks were Mettaton's... it seems like there's a weird continuity error somewhere in there.[/sp] I guess it would make sense since she built Mettaton but Alphys herself is just an weab lizard so shouldn't her attacks be themed around that somehow?

Judging by the 10m+ views i'm in the minority but Megalovania, at least for me, is nowhere near as good as the other boss themes.
Because it's a remix of a previous song he did it sticks out like a sore thumb and feels thematically jarring. It's good, but compared to the overwhelming feeling of catharsis that Hopes and Dreams/Save the World or dread that Your Best Nightmare offer it just doesn't feel appropriate.
I actually prefer the Dr. Andonuts Rage version of Megalovania. The slower pacing and Earthbound sound font just made it sound better to me.
That being said, Asgore's theme for best song in game.
Shouldn't it be changed to a link because of [sp]Asriel[/sp] being in the thumbnail :v:?

The part with Toriel at the start gets me every time.
I found a possible plot hole in Undertale
[sp]The humans won the war and sealed the monsters to the underground with the barrier, right? So, wouldn't that mean that the barrier also reached out to the little hole on the mountain in which the human(s) fell through?
If it did, how could the humans fall through it? It is stated by Alphys at the castle elevator that you need a human soul AND a monster soul to get past it. So unless there are monsters on the top that the humans have killed, which there is no proof of, there is no way for them to get past the barrier.
If it did not, why have they not done anything with it? They could have build a staircase or an elevator or at least climb to the top of it. They have the technology and magic to have things similar to us, plus phones with inter-dimensional boxes and sexy robot bodies. Also, they MUST know where the hole is since SIX humans have fell in there. And if this hole could help them to get out of there, wouldn't Toriel or other monsters that live in the ruins tell about it? [/sp]

It's one way only. You can go in through the barrier, but you can never go back out, at least not without meeting the requirements. This is why the monsters get junk and people coming in to the Underground now and then, and why they can't just build a staircase out or mine their way out.
