edit - forgot to answer your question: no, there aren't any files outside appdata that the game uses (except for the ones in the game folder, obviously)

Deleted the entire game and did fresh install
Launching it doesn't even do anything anymore


I have been deleting it and redownloading it for 2 hours and it literally doesn't get past "preparing to launch"

Warning that unless something changed it's poorly translated and the ending is kind of confusing and makes even less sense because of it.
Also the gameplay is kinda mediocre but you're playing it more for the atmosphere and music.

I kinda wish I walked into Undertale knowing absolutely nothing and thinking it was a generic RPG.
I did with the demo, and was completely surprised [sp]when I found out sparing actually made a difference.[/sp]
I went into undertale blind but it was pretty obvious to me how I was supposed to play when I saw "The game where no one has to get killed"

Try turning off the Steam beta client if you have it on. I couldn't get it to launch either, that fixed it.

What exactly does the thumbnail spoil? You can hardly make it out who it is from the image.
And most people who haven't got to that part of the game won't really know what happens during Geno by looking at it.
