There are even some fan-mades fights with her that use the Quiz sprite. And they don't look awkward at all.

I heard it at first, but after downloading the source video and playing with the audio I cant seem to get the same sound effect going...

That kinda stuff's happened a lot in the past, with "Super Meat Man" showing up in Desktop Dungeons, Dust: An Elysian Tail had the secret cages that you could unlock to liberate various indie characters to get health bonuses, and hell, Super Meat Boy itself had a bunch of alternate characters from different titles.
But don't expect to see Papyrus in Smash due to a potential Wii U port of Undertale. Even though that would be absolutely amazing to see him knock Ness out of the park with a humerus special attack.

iirc Nintendo did come forward to Toby to say that they were interested in Wii U Undertale- but it was an issue because apparently GameMaker engine is shit for that.
So on top of that you have the issue of Shovel Knight also being a popular indie character on Nintendo that clearly fits in but hasn't gotten in (even though it topped the polls when Nintendo asked what the community wants in smash) yet- there is an official Shovel Knight amiibo.
Kinda weird imo that he's become an official physical merch on the same tier as Nintendo other first names but no entrance in Smash.

You can interact with objects within three frames of triggering a cutscene. It's coded that after you've finished the text box, it unlocks movement again (which makes sense). At first, we only used this for the bag of dog food of which Toby patched.
It was recently discovered that we can do the same thing with the punch card that you can get from the Nice Cream guy. It can be used on text boxes and cutscene triggers, including triggers and cutscenes that physically move you.

We actually use this trick to manipulate movement on the vents. It allows us to travel at different angles, faster speeds, and break boundaries to skip entire rooms. It's fun to do, but might not seem to exciting to do on paper.
There's a lot of other stuff like text overflowing on the dog food to pick up the pan and some wrong warps. Otherwise Undertale is a execution based speedrun which is pretty casual and laid back. Currently on Speedrun.com, it's in the top 20 of most popular games.

Didn't someone from the Game Maker team contact Toby on twitter soon after he said that though?
watching people stream Undertale is one of the few things I like watching on twitch. It's great seeing people's reactions to things live.

Ehhh I disagree. Keep in mind that Flowey's voice bark is different from [sp]Asriel's[/sp] so they have different voices. You can hear the difference between the two of them in the geno run [sp]when Asriel/Flowey begs you not to kill him.[/sp]
