I've always interpreted music in video games to come from the protagonist's emotions, like its the music that plays in their head when they do/experience stuff. The exception being when there's an obvious source like a radio or instrument playing.

I think that's why I love when the final boss music is a remix of the game's main theme. The battle feels like a culmination of everything you've done so far in the game and its time to "close the book".

Goatmom is a possessive control freak, treats her kids like property. From what we see she gives minimal fucks about all the kids she's lost, she just says she's lonely.

Goatdad just wants to spend time with his kids, play ball and visit their school. He comes off as more of a father figure/role model than a parent. Also he actually has gifts from his kids, goatmom does not. Meaning people actually like him.

Hell maybe a balance of the two styles is good for raising kids but considering all the kids ran away, and goatmom let them die instead of confronting Asgore like at the pacifist ending, goatmom a shit.[/sp]

[sp]It's sorta implied that the 6 humans before Frisk actually died due to general hazards in the underground and the souls were simply recovered, based upon finding items from them in various places. Such as the tu-tu in Waterfall and the Apron/Frying Pan in Hotlands. Afaik Frisk is the only one he actually fought, I could be wrong though.[/sp]

I've actually never thought of it that way. You just gave me an argument to defend best goat.

The other thing to note is that the only thing we know about the others is from the neutral ending boss and the ball game. Again this is underdeveloped stuff that is open to interpretation and I like yours.
