It's a shitty thing to do, and it bothers me that it's never really addressed afterwards, aside from a single passing remark she makes about "all the gross stuff I did".[/sp]

And as for the Amalgamate thing, injecting dying monsters with DT and all that, considering the nature of monster souls and the very real oblivion they likely face upon death, even by causing them to melt together into sassy white shoggoths she saved a great many lives. If I had to choose between the utter annihilation of my stream of consciousness, or having my mind and body merged with several other people, I'd choose the Amalgamate option, where I actually still exist. But still, maybe she did get off a little too lightly in the end, even if Toriel fired her.[/sp]
