Therefore, in those endings the Amalgamates are locked in Alphys' basement to starve slowly to death, just because Alphys was too ashamed to reveal what she did. [/sp]

Someone did argue in this thread a while back that [sp]Sans has a lot more HP than his maximum 1[/sp] because he takes naps a lot. In both cases with the protagonist, they only slept for a tiny wink in both the hotel and the Snowdin Inn.
So supposedly a fuller nap could provide more than what the protagonist got?

[sp]no but seriously if we're going to go on about 'dick moves' and all that, Asgore's a literal child killer, Toriel let children die instead of helping them, Undyne tried to murder you and just stood there when a kid was about to fall to their death, Mettaton tries to murder you and hires people to murder you, a child, for real, Papyrus is a giant manchild who doesn't appreciate his brother, Sans abstains from being any real use to anyone because he wants to sit around wallowing in his own nihilistic self-pity, and Asriel has committed genocide hundreds of times over out of his own sociopathic boredom, Muffet tries to kill you and cannibalize your corpse on the assumption that you hate spiders unless you buy food from them and never actually shows any kind of regret for what she did, the entire underground attempts to murder children numerous times over, many of them are rude or downright awful to strangers, their friends, or their family, Aaron in particular sexually harasses others. Oh, and then there's Napstablook, who spends literally all day being a sad sack because he couldn't force his cousin to give up their dreams for his own sake. And all of them are hellbent on genocide while acting like it's a tragedy when you choose to give them a taste of their own medicine.[/sp]
This isn't a game where you're supposed to hold people's flaws against them. [I]Everyone[/I] in the Underground is flawed. If we're going to start [sp]blaming Alphys for doing something she was told to do because it had bad effects nobody could predict and then having a mental breakdown that ruined her mental state for years after for not doing everything right because she's, again, heavily depressed and mentally unstable, then we might as well start blaming the rest of the underground for their blatant and sometimes similarly out of their control flaws.[/sp]
