I got a headshot on a guy on Plane and he launched into a rant for the rest of the match about how shitty this game is and how it's super broken and Ubi has no intention of fixing it and every patch they make breaks the game even more. He says that each major DLC release is planned to break the game and put it into a more unplayable state until the last DLC they put out is just going to leave the game as a broken piece of garbage. His team didn't realize you can't ignore people on the opposite team and they felt kind of bad for us. Three solid rounds of just rage typing.
Joined a new lobby of randoms. Guy named AvnFlu was there, who I've played with before.
Went on a four match rage with them. Played against some diamonds and beat them twice consecutively- which made 3/5 rage quit calling us hackers. Fourth match the last two quit calling us niggers. I love this game when you get into lobbies that work well together. Makes matches more interesting.

Are there tricks to farming renown, other than play a lot, and win a lot? I want some sexy skins for my guns and don't feel like paying for it.
Complete your daily quests to get some extra renown. You can also set matchmaking for terror hunt to only be classic mode and one map and just play it over and over solo. The house map is pretty easy, so is the airplane.

quests, terrorist hunt normal. the difficulty changes don't give enough extra renown to compensate for the added bullshit.

The trick is to not buy skins and wait for the 25k new operators

Don't buy skins with renown. 25k renown = ~25 hours. All of the original operators are 25k renown total, then the two Canadian ones, then all the subsequent releases too.
If you want good skins, just buy the "gem" skins. They're cheap, cool looking, and apply to all guns.
Or you know season pass... then buy skins with renown to your heart's content which is what I did I was able to scoop the game cheaper around $30 so with the season pass I paid regular price for the game basically.
I like the season pass because it allows me a chance to play with the new ops before they are flooded and you have to win a clicking war just to select them so I get some decent play time and skill in with them then I can get the tier 3 skins on their guns to make them look even cooler.
I don't think the season pass is that worth it unless you know you're just not going to be playing enough to unlock the new operators in a reasonable time.
If you quit a match because you dont like the map, fuck you. So sick of people quitting before the game even begins. Hard to win a match when its 3v5.

Basically me as well seeing as work takes up most of my time I only get good time in on the weekends and that's if I don't go out.

I went with your suggestion, and got the Cobalt and Amethyst packs. I'll save up my Renown for the 2 Canadian Operators instead.

You can't get spawn killed on either of those maps. The enemy can't even see where you spawn because it's all behind objects. Peekers are a danger on any map though. Plane especially you should be aware of peekers rushing out any of the front doors by now. Just remember to watch doors and windows on approach.
Plane is only dangerous if you spawn behind the truck on the cockpit entrance side. A charging enemy from the cockpit can catch you at the spawn if you're not quick.
Is this game still played a lot on Xbone? Might pick it up sometime.

Should clarify on Airplane that I dont believe its the intention of the game to make it so the attackers cannot actually play their role because defenders are running out on the wing and air-stairs as soon at the match begins.
They should alter the map (move the airplane to a terminal) to allow more points of entry and safety for the attackers.
I don't think so. I don't think it's unfair that the defenders can run out and get early kills, especially now that they've changed nearly all the spawn points on the map to be more secure at spawn-in. It's really obvious on Plane too and since it's done so often me and another guy in my stack always pre-aim whatever door is on the side we spawn on. It's easy kills for the offence if you get it.
like I've said before, defenders should be instantly killed if they step outside - snipers would be watching all the exits if you think about it
