Of all the things that should be changed, this is not one of them. Shotguns with manual reload is exactly a feature of manual reload, you can shoot after inserting a shell in.

Honestly, that is also one of the quirks with any FPS is being able to shoot quicker than the reload animation finishes. As soon as the ammo count changes you can cancel the reload animation somehow and start shooting again. You've been able to do this in Counter-Strike since forever, you could do it in Destiny, you could do it in Left 4 Dead, Killing Floor. That is kind of a "thing" for FPS'.

I think it's just because every single team has a Frost on defense and so people see the super 90 more. The FBI shotgun feels pretty much the same and I've one shot someone from full health down one of the plane hallways before, it's the same thing really.

I've been a Super 90 apologist and thought that the FBI shotguns were just as good, and then things started happening to me and I started to do things that I would classify as disgusting with the Super 90 so I think it's pretty OP now. It needs a nerf somehow, either to effective range or spread or something. Among the few things that need balance in this game, the Super 90 is the only thing that needs a nerf.
