Not sure I agree it's a good move, it should stay forever imo.

It sure fucking worked for me and my friends
I knew one guy with it and went "hey it's $15 for a starter edition should I get it" and now they've gained a cool $60 from us buying it when we wouldn't have bought it otherwise (at least until it dropped to say, $20 however far away that'd be from now).

Hell, I don't even mind the extra grind because if you get 4 other people who play for a little bit after getting it you've got a team of all different operators so nobody's gotta be recruit. Plus, there's not much else to spend renown on. The character cosmetics are all kinda shit imo

im on a night schedule so most of the time when i play it's around that time. i actually get queued against that fight_time guy pretty often and it's fucking awful, since he's actually really good in addition to having high ping peeking advantage.
I bought that starter edition and played the situations for a couple of hours, managed to complete them all but still feel like I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing :v:

I'm pretty sure the spinning is caused from both of you falling and interacting with something right afterwards. If you fall and use a deployable, it'll cause you to spin. IIRC, if used in conjunction with high ping, it can duplicate deployables unless it got patched.

You might be right, but something reeaaaaally weird happens from time to time where I sprint and go to get an armor piece, but during the animation it auto-tracks drones.
I wish I was kidding but twice have I seen my aim track a drone that just entered the room.

Is there a point to putting on silencers? I very rarely see people use them anymore, it seems like people pretty much already know that you're firing, it's just that it becomes a slight bit fainter. Everyone just goes for the options that reduce recoil with certain firing methods.

It removes the bullet tracer effect, that's about it.
Sometimes they're really quiet, like the Saiga 12 silencer, all you hear is the bullets impacting into someone's skull.

Look up crosshair placement. This is more important than twitch reflexes in tactical/slow shooters and will also reduce the need for twitch reflexes.
Long story short never have your crosshair aimed somewhere that it doesn't need to be. Always aim it somewhere you think the enemy will be. There's a ton of in depth tutorials on this for CS:GO but it applies to any FPS and will help a lot. There is a method for checking and peaking corners that pretty much allows you to only rely on your reaction speed rather than mouse precision on top of it.

I've been matched 3 times against a guy with a 45 win/loss who just rolls around cheating with his team of 5, and it's been spread out over the last 2 months or so. Kind of pathetic.

i always end up getting put into teams with a bunch of screaming idiot children that either teamkill me on spawn or die in twenty seconds
i dont want to carry teams anymore, i just want fun
only time i've ran into intentional tkers was when they were on the opposite team, or when i tked a hacker once and he left the game.

These reports are still done on a case-by-case I believe, so even if people report you when you're just playing good it shouldnt trigger a ban.
