Jager has a fucking desert eagle in that picture. Although, knowing how RB6 works, the Desert eagle is going to do like, 42 damage, since, yah know, realism and shit, gotta make the .357 stronger because it's a revolver. Just like how the PMM, a 9x18, does 58 damage, more than the 1911 and H&K USP, since it has a small magazine, small magazine = more damage yah know? Just like short barrels (remington 870) makes shotguns do more damage than the long barrel versions, because, yah know.
you shut your face, I'm glad that for once in video game history the makarov is actually good instead of a total piece of shit
Shields are as fucky as could be expected of a game that splits world and view models. C4 being used like grenades also defeats the entire point.
Reminds me of the battlefield 1942 days with the demo packs
I've started playing Castle more, partly because the M1014 seems to be the best overall shotgun, partly because he is quite useful, but mostly because if I let a teammate take them and he doesn't know what to do with the barricades it can actually hurt the team.
I just don't know, i never see Rainbow six as PvP. It always was a co-op game for me. Always having fun with a friend with Terrorist Hunt, and yes, it is really fun to do. I wish RS Siege had a setup for how many terrorists you can have in one round. I remember in Ravenshield you could have like 45 Terrorists? Now there is like, 28 in classic terrorist hunt mode.
I haven't won a single game of terrorist hunt on realistic online. I get to the objective without a scratch then die because eventually I have to reload and in that 1.5 second gap 3 terrorists break in.
It just feels silly when Tachanka dies in a single 9mm to the face, when his helmet was actually designed to take at least one of those and not splatter your brain irl. And why is the turret's footprint so fucking huge, it takes like a 4 foot radius to drop the stupid thing and you can't set up a shield in front of it like the game suggests

Agree on the shields though.

Its practically useless [editline]21st December 2015[/editline]
you can set up a shield in front tho, just hold the middle mouse button to see the dotted crosshair, if its there it means you can place it
You can place it a mile in front of it
There are only a few specific spots on each map where the turret has some use, but even then the locations are right in the fucking open and you always at least have 2 different entry points to cover. If you get any room with windows you basically wasted your specialization picking tachanka for that round.
Turret behind the bar at the cabin is a great spot. Hard to kill him. Turret is just high enough to see and shoot over the bar.
As much as I like the 1HKO for headshots, there are definitely some characters in the game with bulletproof helmets for 9mm. If Tachanka's is a K6-3, that's even rated up to 7.62(x39, but still!). These characters should probably only be knocked down, but that would require a rebalance.
I'm getting this goddamn game. This convinced me. I heard some negativity towards connection / hitreg issues (which I absolutely detest. I don't think my hate for shit like that can be put into words), but this was just too much. Damn this looks amazing.

Lone wolfing sucks

The best experience is just getting two more friends and playing casual until you feel comfortable with certain operators and maps, and then head in to rank if you feel up to it.
How do I fix the issue with my NAT being "too strict" meaning I can't join my bro in match making (my NAT is moderate)?

I hate waiting 5 minutes to find a game.
Not enough people play ranked which sucks. I hate waiting 5 minutes to find a game.
I play on ps4, and I only play ranked when I have a full team of friends so I don't experience that problem.

They are known to mess the NAT up. I had to help a mate with that issue, he was getting dced every now and then with some errorcode aswell. Bridge your modem/router and get a cheap one to handle the wifi and routing instead.
Yeah that and turn of UPnP too.

One other way to open up your NAT is by enabling uPnP on your router, somewhere in your router settings. 1.) Open your router settings 2.) Enable uPnP 3.) Restart router if it doesn't by itself. That's all it took for me. It should leave you with an open NAT. If your uPnP was already enabled, then disable it and re enable it, restart router. I suppose if that doesn't work... for the last try, disable, restart router, then enable and restart router. Ran into my first hacker last night. There really needs to be a better way to report hackers or even just see the players you've recently played with.
Friend and I ran into 3 other randoms and just slayed people. Ended up forming a ranked squad with them and still was kicking ass. Its the weirdest thing to happen. Two groups of randoms from the internet all have great chemistry together.
Question if i bought the new Rainbow Six game on steam, would it install uplay? or would i have just sign into uplay when in the game?
