Attackers should have some sort of 'spawn protection' tho
I think spawnkilling is pretty unfair. The devs have stated that they want the outside to be the safe haven for attackers and the inside the safe haven for defenders, kinda bullshit and unfair if one "safe haven" can suffer from spawn killing while the other one doesnt have to worry. It's also much harder to see if someone's shooting you from an elevated window than to shoot at someone on the ground behind cover you control.

Some team mates listen and we pretty much destroy that window with suppression fire, other times they just run out and get shot even though I warned them. This WHOLE game is about situational awareness, gotta pay attention to small things. It's about as unfair as going into a house as attackers and getting shot through a pea sized hole in the wall.
I've seen spawn killing work out about as many times as it has failed. Frankly I'd consider it a map design problem more than anything else. I don't think anyone who is playing defender and not doing whatever it takes to stop attackers is hurting their teams chances to win. And I'd actually go further and say that while dying at the beginning of a round sucks, it's atleast more fair then being shot through a pinhole in drywall that was virtually impossible to counter. I died to someone shooting out a window as soon as the map started last night and my reaction was "oh he got me from there, good for him"
Basically just have a glaz every round attacking and then defenders peaking are a free kill.
Popping heads as Glaz from across the rooftops is so satisfying but I just don't feel like I'm helping my team win nearly as much as I would if I were playing Thermite, Ash, Sledge, really almost any other attacker.

Got it for £27, really enjoyed beta so looking forwards to this. Home internet is crap though, so terorrist hunt it is, once it has finished downloading. I know I am critiquing before even playing based on beta experience, but I really wish there was something like 10 players divided into 2 squads taking down a large area like a stadium taken over by terrorists. Could be like a huge terrorist hunt, with hostage or bomb elements. I suppose I am a bit of a co-op player at heart.
fuck that map dude. I would rather play blindfolded than fuck around in that again
I hope they add the Uni map soon to PvP
I've only ever seen that map with the gas once in Terrorist hunt. Is it in a particular playlist? I think it was bomb defusal, which I've opted out of. :v:

Barlett needs to be updated for Terrorist Hunt at the very least, at least in PvP the playing field is even with everyone being blind. AI shooting across two hallways whilst i have less that 5ft of vision in front of me is aggravating

I wish they would add in a jack of all trades kind of character or at least let the recruit use custom weapons. Being able to bring in two different kinds of throwables + a breach charge is really useful, I just wish I could use my skins and scopes.

What would have been better is if the recruit could be customizable using renown, like changing their clothing and stuff to add that old Vegas vibe

Enjoying it, but jesus fuck the gas on the uni map. Fucking hate not being able to see anything for the entire thing. Maybe I just can't deal with heavy saturation, it is hell for me in Alesso Heist on PD2 too.

I was even using a shield on my only playthrough with it for less visibility.
