It'd be neat if the defenders could actually pick up the hostage and use them as a human shield but with netcode and map balance in mind there's really no way it'd work well

Yeah, kinda disappointed there, you see that exact thing happening in a bunch of pre-release media like the E3 footage and screenshots but the game doesn't actually have it... Understandable, though, it'd make the game a lot more difficult
Ran into my first legit cheaters. In ranked. They were headshotting, waiting at attackers spawn, walling, and talking via console.

It's already a bit of a pain having defenders prone behind hostages, being able to use them as a shield would be a nightmare. Game balance in general would be shit for it because it'd be like having a shield except you can only only kill with a headshot else haha you lose the whole round.
I was defending on the big house map, basement bomb.
My fellow dude got injured on the other side of the stairwell so I made sure the person wasn't coming and picked him up.
The enemy turns the corner and lights me up.
Oh good, i'm injured and not dead I say.
Wrong.
I fell through the map. Fucking what.
i swear to fucking god people who put the defuser in a hiding spot that its covered completely, are the fucking worst dipshits in the world.
Funny story: we put down the diffuser ~5ft away from the bomb (not hidden), proceeded to all get rekt, and then posthumously watched from the drone feeds as the enemy failed it in the 60 seconds that they had.
Apparently everyone on the team thought the diffuser always had to always be touching the bomb, and therefore conga-lined shuffled with their heads down around each bomb while the diffuser beeped away behind them on the open garage floor.

Try planting the defuser just next to a breached garage door on the suburban house map. The defenders cannot get to the defuser with the attackers just sitting pretty right outside covering the very exposed defuser.
Being put up against a team that are all clanmates, one of which is some obscene rank when I've just started playing the game is a bit of a nightmare. Made worse by the fact that I'm pretty sure one of them was a ghost. He'd just glide around the map, never moving his legs
Personally I think they should add a class very similar to the recruit called the veteran or something but they get more tools and customisable weapons, probably to be unlocked after X amount of matches or at X level.

Thats the best technique. Works well for bomb A at Cafe as well.
Real cheeky move of defenders to spawn kill the attackers. Nothing like being killed before I even get to move.
they should add someone with silent footsteps, or has a noise bomb.

Silent footsteps as in the walking option

idk how that would work. I already use Pulse to stay out of the way of the enemy team as they approach and circle around back on them
If I had a character that could just sprint and do that? Holy shit, game over. All I need is one person feeding me info on their locations and I'll be behind them before too long.

have you never baited before? really effective to fuck someone's defenses up completely.

i'm not sure why this isn't a thing to begin with
i also think they should give the enemy team a camo pattern, kind of like how in america's army you always play as team murrica regardless of which team you are playing on; that way you can better differentiate friend from foe
i love how classic rainbow six had it where the green team wore flat colors and the red team wore camouflage

It was actually like this in the pre-alpha E3 2014 build. Blue team is in solid blue uniforms while the Orange team has a tan/brown camo

Had a stellar match. Scoreboard a the end shows how much I had to carry my team.

goddamn i wish shadowplay wasn't a piece of shit sometimes
just had a hostage game where the attackers managed to kill the hostage twice: once by fuze and another by prefiring and killing the hostage
So I found out why people never listen to me, my mic for some reason just doesnt work ingame.
Apparently this is a known issue that effects a heap of people.

Man IQ really needs a slight buff. Her electronic scanner is very niche

People always say this but then you can use it to find out bombs and biohazard containers if you haven't already, see where people are if they're using laser sights, and her rifles are fucking great. I really think the German operators have some of the best loadouts in the game but some of the more niche gadgets.

Just spotted this gem

playing as blitz, flashed a room, missed all my shots, couldn't reload because of the shield, flashed again, shield bashed the 3 people in the room, won the round
10/10 would blitz again

Nothing I can see to change that would fix it

It even has my mic playing sound when I use the test button in the overlay but ingame no one can hear me....
Wow'boy, my brother about to pick this game up retail for a bit cheaper, which means I get to have some fun with it as well.
Now I gotta ask, how's the experience?
Also, do all police attackers get that radio-controlled little spying device in the beginning of the round, always? Seems weird to me.
