So I'm presuming there is no teamspeak for FP players, alright I can set one up.
Three things happened late-night yesterday while playing with a good friend.
1) We played against an obvious cheater and when I went to record the game, shadowplay shit the bed and I got nothing.
2) We got onto a team of 3 similar names. We had covert, tactical, and burnt toast. We played great together too. I think it was the most fun I've had in this game with some strangers. #GetToasted
3) A random recognized my name and said hes played against me multiple times and that I left a good impression. What. Played good with him too for not knowing who they were
Oh is there a way to play on the US servers instead of the European? Or am I going to have to proxy?

Proxy would be your only choice. I wish they had a central US server so I could happily play with a sub-60 ping instead of this 80-90 ping I have now for the East server

Twitch opened the front doors, fired random shots in the room that was opposite the door, killing 3 of our team instantly with headshots.
99% sure that Twitch was hacking.

Go to Docs\My Games\Rainbow Six - Siege\(random string of numbers) and edit the GameSettings.ini at the bottom.

I'm trying my hardest not to be upset about this but does anyone know a surefire way of getting support to respond? 3 tickets, forum thread, 8 tweets on one account and 2 on another (all the while they're responding to other people) and no acknowledgement. Does anybody have any tips at all?
I know US can access live chat, but I'm from UK so nope.
Any tips or whatever would be appreciated.

her shots were all perfect head shots like she knew where we were, there was no "you've been spotted" thing, so any call outs on our position would be manual and I doubt she'd spray 3 separate bursts at our heads that quickly from just call outs.

hacking is extremely easy to catch in this game. the main downside to the instakill headshots is that with hacking the ttk is almost instant. we had one game where we spawned and was instakilled before we could even move from our spots from across the map with an mp5.

You've been here since 2007 and don't know about Profan's teamspeak server? ts3.prfn.se
Captain Vagax also set one up a while back when he tried that "Club Facepunch" project. (ts.facepunch.club) However he too was unaware of Profan's server so it rarely had/has traffic. Profan's server is mainly used by Arma player's and private user groups.

That's weird, I too often see the same names croppping up. I remember my friends and I totally ruined this guy who was trashtalking and so as the game drew closer to an end we kept antagonising him more and more (we're assholes sometimes) and he got so pissy. About an hour later we ended up having him in our team (we were only a 3-man squad) and as soon as he noticed he immediately left.
I've had plenty good experiences with meeting the same randoms like yourself, it's really odd. Anyone got any idea how big the current playerbase is?

I'm guessing its a regional thing. I believe they try to matchmake based on regions which, if its true, I'm ok with. No need for me to play against people in Miami or Maine when I'm in the midwest

I think the Marksman rifle may be able to penetrate the glass but I'm not 100% on that. If it was a Famas I'd almost guarantee hacking.
The LFP is hilarious when used against glaz on plane. I Always do that.

I've got some updates on my troubleshooting issue, I don't know if this could shed some light on anything you've encountered and therefore you may be able to help:
After hours of trying things, I set Steam into offline mode and I still get a crash during a situation (I can't play online obviously). If I disable both UPlay and Steam I get absolutely no issues whatsoever during a situation, does anybody know how to sort out this compatibility issue?
Really hoping the Kapkan and Castle glitches get fixed soon. It's all you see on ranked now.
Not to mention that there are some people out there (trolling or not) who believe these are intentional game mechanics and try to defend using them.

Hooray. Been on the phone to support for the past hour and a half and we seem to be getting somewhere. It's something to do with UPlay, I can disable Uplay and the game doesn't crash but I can't play online. AS well as this, if I click the shop the game crashes more often than not, as well as joining multiplayer games still crashes my game.
