It's not in modem mode. The most bizarre thing is if I turn UPlay in Offline mode the game works in situations on MY computer. the game works on multiplayer on my FRIENDS. so what the fuck is my computer doing differently to my friends to make me unable to play online?

Also, I'm gonna keep posting my issues in here just on the offchance that someone knows something:
I can play Terrorist Hunt as long as it's by myself. So it must be some sort of connection issue BUT when I click the "Shop" tab too, I'm also crashing.

Yeah my NAT's open.
Once again, it's temperamental about what it let's me play and what it doesn't let me play - but 99% of the time, I crash when:
Situation - about a minute in
Multiplayer (Terrorist Hunt included) - joining any sort of enemy team, I can see my own teammates, it's just when the "joining game session" comes up, it fails.
Clicking the shop
Game can sometimes not even get past creating squad or give access to main menu without crashing
As I say, the game works offline, the game works upstairs on my room-mates computer, it's just something to do with the connection of my computer apparently.
Although, Ubi support is making me do a disk check for whatever reason after accessing my msinfo logs. so i'm unsure.
if somebody who is of networking background wants to take a look at my debug files feel free, i can't make sense of them but errors are there

When I try to play the game the only thing available to play is terrorist hunt, so I'll ask again

Really looking forward to using Frost's Welcome Mats. They hide well under broken barricades and in the dark areas of the new map, can't be seen by players vaulting (not rappelling) through windows, and are entirely mechanical (IQ , Thatcher, & Twitch proof). There's also apparently a bug or glitch where people you revive run around with a bear trap stuck to their leg.

Saying someone on console can connect to servers doesn't really have a bearing on PC players.
Make sure your game is 100% updated. If its not fully downloaded (but playable) features may be disabled.

Oh okay so uplay just has an obscure icon at the top next to your name that's the only thing that lets you know if you are downloading something.
IDK why they can't just put a status bar that is clearly visible but okay.

Man, Buck is completely useless. The underbarrel shotguns spread is fucking insane and hitting anything beyond the three meter mark is impossible.
Frost on the other hand is fantastic.
Some cool stuff that came with the patch like
Sledge's hammer animation is a lot quicker now
Russian ACOG sight alignment fixed
Shields, reinforced walls and stuff like that can freeze on the Yacht map, blending with its environment

It's a breaching shotgun. It takes down barricades and creates murderholes on the fly. He can be quite the hunter

I think he means metal equipment can frost over, becoming white-ish so it blends in with the snow/ice easier.

What is not in modem mode? Surely there is some modem between you and the wall? Just unplug that and run the Cable straight from the wall to your pc.

Oh yes, I was wondering why this wasn't a feature in the first place. I'm loving these updates, soooo nice. Muted voice lines for the enemies when using your gadgets, too. This is great. I'm so happy they didn't decide to just leave the game alone after launching it.
