Rank is a reflection on self/team skill. Its completely subjective. I started at Silver 2/3 then got bumped to Gold 2 when the update came out.

I'm pretty confident I can get to Plat. If I'm playing with someone else who is good at roaming, and most of the people I know are roamers, sometimes I feel like I can sit in the objective room with my thumb up my ass and we'll be perfectly fine. Normally, at least on defense, you just need the team to not freak out once you get a couple of pick kills. Is it 5v3? 4v2? Or even 5v2? Just collapse back onto the objective. Don't run around like idiots and get picked because everyone split up to go on a fucking hunting trip. And on attack I wish people would get it into their heads that, if we know where the objective is, [I]use bots to get strategic views[/I], not fucking points from objective or operator spotting. That 100/25/5 points isn't going to win the game. Knowing where roamers are going is.

Had a game of ranked with 4 fucking shadow glitchers of 10 people. Come on man.
Well that was great, I decided to play Montagne and I had to struggle with the ink sploch all over but I somehow managed to:
Get someone killed by getting them to sink an entire LMG clip into my shield.
Get another person down because someone else went onto the LMG and tried to shoot me through the shield whilst reloading my gun.
Headshot the person who was on the LMG from across the room.
and finally I shield bashed the last guy, winning the round and match, best part is I did most of it by myself.
I wish I could run shadow play so I could show you all of it.

I play casual to find good players then ask them if they want to squad up and play ranked. Worked out well for me so far.

Played with some LoL-esque toxic players so far tonight. Just absolute shit, always complaining of hacks, calling people niggers and worse in chat.
Just 0/10 makes me not want to play tonight. Its god damn casual. No need to be taking it so seriously.

They still haven't fixed this? Are the connection issues at least better? I was thinking about grabbing the game on sale yserterday.
The connection issues are not as frequent to me, personally. I get disconnected of the lobby or during a match very rarely with east coaat data center. Netcode stuff is a bit of a problem, headshots are apparently.

Well I mean I've had better luck than some of the people in this thread too but he pretty empirically broke down what's wrong with the way the game handles connections so it's not really an opinion thing at the end of the day. The model orientation one alone is damning.
What the video didn't seem to explain is why landing headshots on people doesn't give hit markers, even when they are standing still and don't have a massive ping.

Upper body shots need to do a lot more damage. Nothing more annoying than hitting 3 or 4 into a guys chest and having him walk away. Even with a silencer, you have to joking. Also the holographic sight has some wonky aim. I've put the red dot right on the head and fired and I'll tap his shoulder or neck.
Two flukes happened to me recently. Played 5 rounds of bomb on the airplane where each round the bomb was in the same spot. Additionally, in that same match, I was killed by a shotgun and on the replay it showed him shooting no less than 5 feet behind me.
That was a joke of a match.
