I'm still seeing new things after all the time I've put into the game. Someone blew open the wall behind the kitchen to get a view in. Had our entire team in their sights. The maps are way more in-depth than anyone likes to think.
I am so sick of Frost. Three traps is too many and her fucking shotgun has the range of Glaz's sniper.
The only big issue with Frost is that shotgun range. That thing is a fucking heat-seeker.
If they had a JTFS2 recruit with Frost's shotgun, I'd use that everyday if Frost wasn't available.
My playing experience thus far tonight
1 match 2v5
1 match where 3 of my teammates were 400+ ping
1 match of AFK teammates
1 match where teammates didn't play their operators and fucked us. if you have thermite, USE IT ON REINFORCED WALLS. Rook should place his armor down right at the beginning, I mean really, its his ONLY USE

dunno why you're wasting time with sights on frosts shotgun.
Hip firing will do the job just as well. if you're willing to compromise a bit adding a laser sight will make it even better.

Because laser sights get you killed, and also affect shotguns the least out of all weapons. If I had a laser sight, Fuze might have just popped me as soon as I peeked the stairway because he could see me coming before I knew exactly where he was. [B]E:[/B] Or I never would have gotten the kills on the two guys at the window because they would have seen my laser.
I don't run laser sights on anything except shield operators because 99% of the time you're not going to hip fire with anyone else but them.

Did a team of only recruits on casual. 4 with shields on attack. We won 17 straight before the squad disbanded.

If you hide your laser sight against walls they won't see it. For example when they jumped through the window at the beginning, aim toward the window wall so they won't see it. Works for me all the time.
And no, the hip fire accuracy is drastically affected on the super-90.

And that also makes it more difficult to pre-aim headshots from around corners because they'll see your laser before you round. Laser sights suck ass and are more of a liability than a benefit, especially with the kind of game Siege is.

I personally disagree, my laser sights have never gotten me killed. ofc different playstyles benefit us differently. I've had probably 3 or 4 ace's while only hipfiring, and headshots don't matter if you're up close with the shotgun, you're guaranteed a one hit kill 90% of the time.

I've personally ended games by spotting them. When you're making a slow approach or defending a position all it takes is an observant player or a teammate with a mic to call it out. You can also tell exactly where the laser is coming from. It's just too dangerous to run with if you're playing good players.
With the laser you are really gambling that the one time you get into a hip fire fight the 25% bonus or whatever will actually help more than having your position being given away every time you move into a room. Personally it's an easy choice: I almost never hipfire, when I do I don't feel like the bonus has helped, and I've killed far too many people because I could see their laser for me to want to ever run it. I have it on shield guys and Ash and thats it.

I was just guessing at 25% because I can't actually find real numbers anywhere and that's what it felt like. Cool that it somewhat lined up with what I can see is the only somewhat scientific look at it.

You guys all act like laser sights completely reveal your position no matter what when that's simply not the case. Laser sights are NOT easy to see if you're moving/roaming. Even if you're alone in a room, depending on where you're aiming nobody is going to see it.

Surprise roaming and flanking will do the job regardless of laser or not, I prefer the tighter spread and know for a fact no one will notice my laser when I'm flanking.
red I don't know how you can disagree with evidence that's right there. Laser sights just don't affect shotguns as hard. I also do think laser sights completely reveal your position because I get kills off it all the time. Even if you're playing an aggressive flanker it's a danger to your position if you're trying to play patient. I play roamers/flankers all the time so I know.
Don't lasers also light you up like a christmas tree to IQ?

I don't trust his method of identifying it. I'm sure it's somewhere around those numbers though, I'd prefer to see more statistics. Regardless, tighter spread is tighter spread.
I'm not disagreeing with how you play, I'm simply stating I prefer the laser and I've had plenty of success with it.
And in regards to IQ, nobody uses her anyway because most have been brainwashed that she's total garbage, so I tend not to worry. Plus, I've never seen it actually in action yet. I'm about to test it myself though
