So after messing around with another Facepuncher who's name I don't actually know, I've found out that range drop off is more of an issue than armor is when you're trying to kill people from a distance, at least with Glaz but I see no reason why it wouldn't matter for everyone else. If Glaz is in the treehouse on House and shoots Jager (one armor) in the master bedroom with one armor and no Rook plate, he'll still have like 20 health left even without a silencer. I thought damage dropoff wasn't this severe in Siege, especially since the change a few patches ago, but I was wrong.

Speaking of Buck, I've been TK'd at least 3 times now by people who think he's "their" class and are salty I picked him first. Never had this problem with any other operator.
I've never had that happen, even immediately after they came out of season pass holders, and I've also been playing Buck nearly every map for the past week. Been trying to figure him out.
are the dlc operators going to get their own intro videos too or is that strictly for the base game operators?
I'm personally not a fan of buck. None of his weapons really are too good for me. His assault rifle has terrible recoil
I love his AR. His DMR is shit. You can't just play him on every map though. Might as well play Recruit if you play him on maps like House and Kanal.

If he's paired with someone, he's always an effective breach method, gets a lot of lead through the door for those times where people are in front of the door un covered.
I just don't find his "instant killhole" thing worth doing with his underbarrel.
His style is also very situational. More often than not I'd probably continue using my rifle instead of switching to the underbarrel since most of the time I tend to stay a reasonable distance away.
Buck is probably the only OP I wouldn't touch, unless I'm fucking around.
You know what is REALLY irritating? When people say the enemy team is hacking, even tho its just that they are bad-

I thought that too which is why I've been playing him for a week straight. I wanted to know how to play him more effectively. He's actually a really good entry fragger and, like I said I wouldn't play him on certain maps, I actually really like playing him on some too like Kafe, Yatch, and Base because those maps play to his special. Suddenly you can blow a hole in a wall that would be dangerous for an op like Sledge and nab a kill quicker than he could too, or ruin a lurkers position very quickly (again, where Sledge would be put in more danger).

I love cluster charges.
Also, I am starting to lean towards characters that fire super fast guns, like LMGS, stuff like P90 or FMG, as before I used to use guns that will kill if you aim at the chest like shotguns or AR's. I never realized how overpowered spraying in one direction is until now.
LMG's and the P90 are awful. LMG's are very unstable and difficult to control compared to the other guns the operators have. IQ's Commando 552 is a pretty amazing gun and Fuze's AK is great. P90 does the lowest damage in the game [I]and[/I] is very unstable so if you don't get the headshot you're going to lose every gun battle, even with the high rate of fire.

I disagree with that statement. The high recoil is a advantage, as 90 percent of the time you'll get a headshot from a lucky stray bullet. LMGs are VERY VERY stable, so I dunno where you are getting that from. The 552 is a good gun and the AK is also good, but in my opinion (opinion, not fact here) I like the FMG.
I retract my early statement about Fuze's LMG.
That shit is incredible.

Anyone else completely suck one part of the day and then do really good in another part of the day? Last night I did 3 matches where I went 6-0, 9-1, and 5-0 and today after 2 games I only got 1 kill and died each round. Sometimes I just gotta take a break

The DMR is what makes him good. 2-3 shots as fast as you can click will kill whoevers chest you are aiming at. Sure Rook may take a 4th hit but with a acog that thing is better then the 417. And dont forget the free autoshotgun you get for CQB battles.
Just had my favourite game winning moment. Ended up 1v1 and I managed to snatch the hostage and make a run for it. The sneaky fuck was waiting for me but as I rappelled down the side of the building apparently you put the hostage over your shoulder. He unloaded into my new human shield and took out the hostage which gave us the round :v:
