Shut up Mokuba
Isn't that a $100 deck?
dark paladin is like what, 15 euro's? so yeah, if you add up everything i think the price will indeed be around 100 dollar. but it's worth it n.n
Man I was opening up some PG2 with a friend and we were pulling the nuts out of our packs. Out of 3 sets of 3 packs my friend pulled 2 crush, 1 Ring of destruction, #95, Yamato, and Barkion. I got 2, and funny story with the first one my pulls were okay but nothing special. Then I was on the last pack, already saw 4/5 card in it, hoping to Sophia that the last card was good and.... Lavalal Chain. It was a good day for packs, something I haven't had in a longg time. Shame I didn't get any of the naturia stuff but between me and my friend we got a playset of both rose knight and rose lover which I'm trying out.
I got 2nd place at locals today, with my BA deck. I adjusted my deck to the banlist in advance, to prepare, and as you see, it was quite effective here's a decklist for those interested: 3x graff 3x scarm 3x cir 3x rubic 2x farfa 1x libic 1x alich 1x calcab 1x ULTI TGU BITCH 3x Absolute King Back Jack (MVP) 3x Mind Crush 3x Fire Lake 1x Vanity's 3x MST 2x Dark Hole 2x Critter swoop 2x Mask Change 2 1x Alure of Darkness 1x The Beginning Of The End 1x Raigeki Extra: 3x Dante 1x Acid Golem 1x Alucard 1x Giga Brilliant 1x Mechquipped Angineer 1x Nightmare Shark for game 2xDownerd 2x Dark Law 1x Masked Hero Anki 2x Virgil SIde: 2x Mistake 2x Anti-Spell Fragrance 2x Fairy Wind 1x Grave of the Super Ancient One 2x Flying C 2x Maxx c 2x Vanity's fiend 2x Shared Ride oh and afterwards i pulled an Ulti Tour Guide :D
Surprised you're still maining 3x MST's and 3 Fire Lake with Qli's being dead and Vanity's at 1, they aren't particularly strong against Nekroz/Shaddoll/the mirror. Whatever works for you though. Absolute KBJ sounds interesting, I'm running mathematicians with TGU going to 1 so it could be worth teching 1-2 back jacks in Just come back from my locals too, 1st place with BA. I didn't play against Nekroz but it was okay since I sorta had a handicap (I was playing with 1 TGU but couldn't play Crush card etc)
How are Dark Worlds doing? I used to run that as my main and I remember people would destroy Dark Worlds with a good side deck by the time I left yugioh. I haven't followed any recent banning or limitations so maybe Dark World made a comeback (hope so).

But really i rarely see a lot of Nekroz decks, maybe 1/2 per local (20 players or so) probably gonna go 2 mst and 1 crush card
I'm pretty sure it'll be a Nekroz dominated format with some BA, Shaddoll and Tellarknights Shaddoll in particular are going to be a pain in the ass without vanity's because of Fusion
How are Dark Worlds doing? Had my first tournament today with the new banlist.. didn't really notice anything odd. I didn't play because there were too many players, so i had to pay attention. Satellar had a field day, but eventually nekroz beat them down (Good.) eventually nr 1 was Nekroz, 2 was Infernoid and 3 Satellar i believe. pretty fun tournament, but it was really hectic. i didn't know being a TO would be hard.. Next week there are gonna be some set rules. What do you guys think about this. We start at 19:00 and end at 21:40 (sometimes later). we play 4 rounds, back to back, 40 mins. Do you want overtime (like 5 minutes or 3 turns) or would you say fuckit whats the standing? 1-0? you win. 1-1? who has most LP? you win
qli got hit hard, but thank god for swords at dawn
Sorry to bump the thread, but Konami's new banlist basically gutted a shit ton of decks. http://www.yugioh-card.com/en/limited/
"How should we balance the meta?" "Just fuck all the shit up"
Ah, surprised to see a thread for this on here. I play YGOPro a lot, myself. Would like to get some actual cards again eventually.
holy shit what the fuck this is insane welp i guess all im left with now is my fluffals
I still have my 4 book collection from when I was 10. Still a big fan of this, I wish I still collected cards though.
With everything dead I guess its time to invest in Monarchs and Kozmos then
I was planning on making Infernoids but was on the fence. Now the Banlist basically made that descision for me.
Man, I haven't played yugioh in while. I heard that pendulum cards have ruined the game although I don't know. So what's the new meta?

Nah but seriously Pendulums have impacted the game almost underwhelmingly. Only one (now former) tier deck consistently used them. I'd say XYZs were a negetive impact, with most of the ZEXAL era bringing forth really unfun and complete bullshit decks. Arc V is a golden age for competitive right now.

All I remember is that the game got worse the more cards they added, it really started to get bad after YuGiOh GX.
Performages and pals are crazy strong with dracorivals and Ariadne when they come over to tcg, even without shock master. If there aren't preventive hits, they'll be able to make crazy boards first turn withjust their 4 counter traps, not even considering the rank 4s theyll have at the end of their turn.
So I opened 2 sneaks at my local card shop who broke street date given I keep the cards at the store and pick them back up tomorrow and don't take any pictures so I can't post them on facebook and rat them out or whatever. First one was shit, only pulling a super DDD and nothing else. Friends convinced me to get a second (as they usually do but I was going to get one tomorrow anyway). First pack had a Dark Destroyer. [t]http://i.imgur.com/BmxrsS8.png[/t] YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Friend was hoping to get Cozmos to play at YCS San Jose so this is perfect for him. Friends did good too, pulling a Ghost and Secret Scarlight as well as a Strawman.
Man, I haven't played yugioh in while. I heard that pendulum cards have ruined the game although I don't know. So what's the new meta?
Pendulum cards are actually really fun to use and fairly balanced; they look pretty damn overpowered at first glance, but considering you're dropping two cards just to even set up the Pendulum Scale and how their biggest strength is support of other monsters rather than doing everything themselves, the shift in the game they've created is a relatively gentle one. The biggest impact a new card type has had still goes to Xyz. Synchros made getting out boss monsters easier than Fusions (which themselves already had help from the introduction of Contact Fusion), but it was Xyz Monsters that truly ripped a chasm between the pace of modern-day YGO and that of when the game started. Suddenly any pair of level-matched monsters can bring out an Xyz and so your Extra Deck becomes a "toolbox" of Xyz Monsters that you could pull out any time you wanted to handle a particular situation. By comparison, Pendulums might as well just be two extra Field Spell Zones; not only that, but they take up Main Deck space, meaning you gotta draw into them or have a way to search them out before you can use them. Fusion, Synchro, Xyz... Those guys are in the Extra Deck. Fifteen slots reserved just for them and they're always at the ready, so every deck can throw some in; you can bring 'em out as soon as you have the materials and you won't be drawing into them what you don't need to. This makes them much more lax in how much they need to match the Main Deck. By comparison, many decks still don't even even use Pendulums due to the room they take up, which could be used for cards that better serve those decks' purposes. You have to much more closely build your Pendulums and the rest of your deck around each other. It's easier to splash Extra Deck stuff in wherever.

By comparison, many decks still don't even even use Pendulums due to the room they take up that can be better used for cards that better serve those decks' purposes.
current pendulums aren't really strong, (qliphorts didn't depend on the mechanic that much, and yosenju basically wasn't even a pendulum deck), but the new ones that have yet to come out make setting up the pendulum scale not even a minus. They tend to destroy themselves with effects that not only search our more cards, but also sets up the extra deck so that when they do pendulum, they have access to all of their previous scales as more monsters. There are so many pendulum support cards like wavering eyes (you will almost always get it's second effect, so it's a free search) that with a good build, you can fix almost any hand with pendulum magicians, emem, majespecters, etc.
Honestly Winda is the weakest of the Shaddoll fusions, unless you're playing an XYZ deck that can't normal summon twice.
Welcome to every xyz deck except hunders and yosenju.
