When you're in the league after 20:00 gmt you should be able to join our event in the league sections.
I'm in, what happens ingame when the event starts?

Think of it as an inhouse tournament, where instead of racing against the AI, you race against facepunchers, since there's no real time PvP yet, this is the closest we can get to an organized competition.

Oh no I get that, I meant how do I access it, but now I remember that there's a Leagues menu on the main menu.

Aye, just go on there and when the league is scheduled to start you can get a time down.
Just finished the league. So far I'm the only person to have done it, so for a rare moment I'm currently first on the leaderboard :v:
Finished 29:44.923 overall. Did terribly on the Greece stages, managed to flip my car on the first one which meant I had to play it very careful on the second one so that I wouldn't have to repair too much.
Germany stages were pretty good, I'm getting good at those now so I didn't have much of a worry.
On the first Alps stage I felt like I took the corners in the snowy section way too slowly, but it paid off because I kept the car pristine for the mainly tarmac second race.
First stage of Wales felt like it flew by. I've always been better at Wales than the other locations, so this wasn't much of a surprise. The second stage was going insanely fast as well, but I managed to get the car stuck on a ditch where the rear wheels were off the ground, so I had to recover and lost 13 seconds. I still think I got quite a fast time on that stage despite the penalty though.
Trying out some different wing settings on the Star Mazda, this one gave me some ridiculous straight line speeds but taking corners required a lot of testicular fortitude

Eventually found something good, did one race starting from the front because I qualified with a 1:36.9 but got took out at the first turn, then did a second race where I only managed to qualify a 1:39.05 and could only lap high 1:38 and low 1:39 consistently (I assume the weather changed or something?) and I came second
Pfthaha, threw my car off of a cliff on the first monte carlo stage, guess I know Where I'm staying on the leader boards :v:

I am probably going to attempt the League event tomorrow, and knowing how violently the Lancia 037 can spin out over the tiniest amount of grip lost, having to drive it on the Monte Carlo stage with the most amount of Ice in it doesn't really lift my spirits up, to say so.

Honestly I'm retarded, I practiced with the 037, but switched to the opel manta because "everyone's gonna use the 037, how diferent can they be?"

From what I've experienced with the cars so far (and what others said about it), the Manta seems easier to control and more predictable to control on most surfaces, but the Lancia 037 Evo 2 seems to have way more raw power in the faster sections of stages. It just clobbers the hell out of every straight. I think its acceleration feels like it is the second best in the game, after the absolutely ridiculous Peugeot 205 T16 Evo 2. As long you can keep that thing on the road, you should be able to beat the AI even on Master Difficulty.
what do you do about the handbrake in dirt? i have been thinking about getting some DSD stuff like the short throw shifter and handbrake but i need something to install them in first
Yay for modding. Now wheres my martini livery for the 037?

Got 30:34:68 overall on the League event. Lost over one full minute at the second Monte Carlo stage due to a tire puncture. I always seem to mess up terribly at Monte Carlo stages while driving a RWD.
I think I could still have a chance at that point if I didn't lost around 15 seconds on the first Germany stage by spinning off while braking after one of the longer straights there, which also damaged the radiator of the car from the following impact. The Wales stages went also fine for me, but man, I totally blew it at the Monte Carlo stages again. I also was like 15 seconds behind your time at the first Monte Carlo stage too.
I really need to get more consistent though. Even when making no big mistakes, I still sometimes end up being 10 seconds off my best runs on some stages.

Yeah, you can look at the league results by each stage and you were ahead for a fair few until that. It's a massive power reduction when you lose a radiator, I was lucky to have powered through one of the Racenet challenges when I ruined my 306's radiator in Germany.
Is there any love for Arcade Racers such as Daytona USA, or SCUD Race? I enjoyed Super Monaco GP and all of those arcade racers of old.
Waiting on Drift stage, power drive 2000, 90's Arcade racer and distance to come out of early access.
Is there any must-have downloads for Assetto Corsa? I already have Rainbow Road and Helicorsa.
You forgot to put RSRBR in the OP!
I almost never saw Facepunch really interested in RBR so I didn't, fixed that now.
I do RBR for almost 4 years now, but it's not gonna help me to explain what to do with RSRBR (I don't need it but others may) because I'm on RBR CZ :v: , someone should find\make a guide.
[editline]6th July 2015[/editline]
found the guide on their site
Another facepunch rally event - another Monte Carlo outbounds :v:
pissed off, went to 60's Master event on Mini and figured out how to properly drive it, beating the shit out of those AIs at Greece
i like how both sk and late model are on SOBO this week, great track i entered by mistake in the sk thinking it was still week 3 but still managed to finish 4th with no practice and not having driven the course before
i just wish iracing tracks were cheaper, they lulled me into a false sense of security with the first 3 weeks of star mazda because they're tracks that i already own. i only own 1 or 2 more for the rest of the season so if i want to race it at all for the next 3 weeks i have to fork over £30 and then another £30 later on to finish the season
then next season they'll swap the tracks around again forcing me to pay another £60
i own all but 2 or 3 short courses so if i cant race in one car this season i can probably race in another, its gonna cost a ton to move into trucks or gen 6 although it depends if i do open or fixed, open has a lot more tracks and races but i think theres cross over so i can do both

And this shit is why I will never touch IRacing and RaceRoom Experience.
As the resident RaceRoom fanboy I'm obligated to point out that RaceRoom is nowhere near as expensive as iRacing.
I've spent the price of a full price game so far ($50) and have:
- All 6 ADAC 2014 GT3 cars plus all liveries
- All 4 WTCC 2014 Touring cars plus all liveries
- All 5 DTM 1992 Classic Touring cars plus all liveries
- BMW M1 + extra livery
- Radical SR9 Judd + extra livery
- All 25 circuits
I'm pretty happy with all that and I think that's a full price game's amount of content, especially considering how polished the game is, but you have to be very careful about how you spend the money. Knowing how to work the system is I think the worst part of RaceRoom's pay model. Hell, I think the pay model is the worst part of the game. It's so off-putting to new players because it's so convoluted and gives people PTSD flashbacks to iRacing.
iracing is 100% worth the money, if you have the money
I bought dirt rally last night and now I downloaded it and tried it and fucking died. many times.
late models are really frustrating, i find it impossible to stay on pace and get lapped by the whole field
