performance is markedly worse after patch and now it wont stop crashing. wonder how theyve done that one.

You're not doing anything wrong, it just is that way for now. What I do is use Nvidia DSR to play the game at 4K. It doesn't eliminate the bug but as you can tell the sheer amount of pixels basically negates it when you scale the picture back to 1080p. ^ Both of those HE cars can be converted to AWD if you're willing to sacrifice a bit of cornering ability.

I get what you're saying though, one of the few things Gran Turismo did right was give you the option to add ballast to penalise or weight balance your car and the power limiter thing.

I was about to suggest an FP car meetup some time, realised I hadn't tried online yet and then also realised that I can't even get into any sessions. It'll say it has found a session, I'll hit join but it will never actually put me through to it. I read that disabling unused network adapters (like ones used for a VPN) will help, tried that and sadly still couldn't get into any games. It could just be coincidence but I've crashed far less since disabling all network adapters other than my main ethernet one though Anyone else have trouble getting online?

God damn I just can't decide if this is worth getting. I really don't want to be hamstrung to playing the game on low or medium with my GPU just because the game isn't optimized on CPU's.

And now it's back to shitty performance, regardless of the setting. No matter what I try, I can't replicate the thing that made it run like normal. I"m SO FUCKING PISSED right now.
