There's nothing better than fucking around with friends in Historix. I'm still smug about this pass. Don't mind the fluff around it, it was years ago and it was just to shitpost in skype with
bought the car pack, and remade this NOT A REAL FALCON
Holy crap, 20GB demo. Is this the same one that was on Xbox One or is it more open than that?
I assume it's the same. It was 20 gb on Xbox too iirc
made this earlier today, you can find it by searching my name (fp name minus the 7) [t]http://i.imgur.com/426AqtQ.png[/t] [editline]5th November 2016[/editline] (bad pic, i know)
I found this neat C1 night mod for Assetto Corsa, looks stunning if you ask me.
Man, I really, really want a street racing game with legit sim physics that takes place in late 90s Japan. That looks amazing.
99% of my time spent in AC is in practice mode on street courses with just about any given japanese car tbh
Who organises the POTW polls? I'd organise last week's one, but it's hard to do from a tablet.
It would be nice if someone made a London to Sydney marathon skin for the Falcon, it would work well with my Rally Build. Even in a video game.
I still can't help but feel like there's something missing in FH3's map.
I still can't help but feel like there's something missing in FH3's map.
Needs some windy mountain roads for some sick touge racing imo
Needs some windy mountain roads for some sick touge racing imo
As much as they did in this edition of Horizon for us drifters, this is the one thing they should have done.
I still can't help but feel like there's something missing in FH3's map.
There's no burnout pad. so there's a new asphalt
so there's a new asphalt
Man, phones nowadays are crazy. Besides the lack of AA that could almost pass for an early Gen 7 title.

Picked up Forza Horizon Ultimate Edition for my birthday. Having a lot of fun with it, but I have to restart it about every 90 minutes due to it devouring my 2 gigs of VRAM and 8 gigs of RAM.

Christ, is the Prowler this awful for everyone else? I've got it at max C-class and it's terrible at everything. It slips and slides like it's on water (stock tires, max width) yet it has mediocre-at-best power. It's got anti-roll bars, stiffening and all that good shit yet it still handles like crap.

I've found that wider stock tyres make barely any difference for handling (compared to the normal stock), while chewing up your performance rating. Stiffen the anti-roll bars in the tuning section, and if the car has a tendency to over/understeer, adjust the dampers and bump stiffness. That probably doesn't leave much room for performance upgrades, but see if you can still upgrade the camshafts, because I think that would make the most difference. [editline]11th November 2016[/editline] So because I really, really want a Morgan 3 Wheeler in the game, I did the next best thing and turned my 166MM into a 3 Wheeler; it has my favourite colour for the 3 Wheeler (willow), black wheels like the 3 Wheeler etc. It's actually a pretty similar car; vintage styling, long curves, no full windshield, barchetta body style etc. Just ignore the fact that, you know, it has ten more cylinders, a fourth wheel, and isn't a wooden tricycle powered by a motorbike engine. Once it received an aluminum engine redesign in 1999 it was both lighter and more powerful than a Honda S2000, the only real drawback being the horribad Chrysler 4-speed autotragic slushbox and Chrysler's trademark PlaySkool® plastic interior. The stock tire width rarely seem to make much of an impact on the Performance Index, though the tire compound can add like 300 PI to something. The PI calculations in Horizon are totally fucked; you can have 600+ hp cars in C-class. [editline]10th November 2016[/editline] My favorite cars so far are the AMC Javelin (as usual, have driven it in every game since Forza 3), the C4 Corvette, and the Honda S2000. S2000 was kind of a turd (competitively wise) in the previous games, but it handles like a dream in here.
Yeah the tyre upgrades can absolutely destroy the PI, it's definitely much-harsher than Forza 6. Upgrading the stock tyres to merely street tyres on the XR Falcon GT took it from 503 right up to 600, which was good in a way because I didn't want to upgrade anything else. But now it's slow as shit compared to everything else at 600. What about weight reduction combined with stiffened anti-roll bars? Also C3 Corvette for best Corvette. I can't bring myself to liking many American cars because they just seem cheap and inelegant (especially your comments on the Prowler), but the C3 is just so beautiful that it's an exception. Then there's also the Shelby Cobra 427, but it doesn't really count because it has a British body.
