2.0 GT just says 'typical 90's Japanese sports car' to me. The 3.0 GT Turbo A just has that more-romantic of a story to it; a Japanese maker renowned for boring cars, the underdog, taking on the big European boys for outright victories in the dominant touring car category of the time, in championships all across the world. But then they failed miserably because fucking Ford Sierra Cosworth. But it gets better, because then the R32 Skyline GT-R came along, forced the 3.0 GT to dig its own grave, and then shot it in the back of the head.
Mate, if you want a story for a car then there's something wrong with you.
I think the morgan is the only car of the pack i have any interest in, that and perhaps the pontiac GTO. The others are just nothing special.
But It's a Commy (although it's really a HSV lmao) It has an engine blueprinted by a V8 Supercar race team It does sick skids, not those wimpy ones like American cars do It has an absolutely ridiculous rear wing, because why not You know it's 90's as fuck because the paint is called 'yellah' Muslims are promised virgins in heaven, but bogans are promised one of these instead Even Steve Irwin couldn't tame one One of them personally told Tony Abbott to fuck off
was really hoping for a delorean :frown: maybe in another pack...
Mate, if you want a story for a car then there's something wrong with you.
Point is, when I see 2.0 GT, I don't think 'oh man I really want to drive that!'. When I see something that actually has a little bit of history to it, as in it was a car that wasn't made just to make a profit by selling to teenagers with rich parents or balding men going through a mid-life crisis, I actually get interested in the car. And in FH3, I only drive the few cars that I'm interested in, as most of the cars are really boring. Is there something wrong with me if my criteria for which cars to drive in racing games aren't things like 'looks cool', 'it's Japanese' or 'has a twin-turbo badge'?
you can drive anything on the test server? i always wanted a try before you buy on cars
you can try any car you have downloaded, which is probably all of them, but you can only use tracks you own i think
It's like that in all racing games on public multiplayer. There's often no consequence for people to be selfish pricks, and very few players actually have sportsmanship. There needs to be a system where, if you're a victim of someone else being unsportsmanlike, you can flag that multiplayer match and roughly when the incident occurred, and then there's like a jury of players that watch a replay of that incident and make a judgement. If the player was a dick, they're temporarily banned from multiplayer. The jury system could work if the jury is rewarded for their time regardless of how they rule, eg for every ten judgements a player makes, they get a free car or a 'start-on-pole' card to use.
iracing has a safety rating system that deducts from your rating if you crash a lot/run off track/lose control (and losing rating means you can't do certain races) and a report system (but they only take judgment if they rule that the incident was intentional (e.g. someone just straight up ramming you out of anger), and even then the punishment is lax

It's just a japanese tuner, there is not a single special thing about the way it looks.
Finally we're getting that Supra, always been a car I liked since back in the days of Sega GT. All the other cars in the pack, not very interested. Still waiting for my SW20 though
Yet when you make a sports car scream generic, then something is wrong. It's just a japanese tuner, there is not a single special thing about the way it looks.
I agree, it's like they took every generic 90's styling thing and mashed them in to one thing
Got GT4 running really well after reinstalling PCSX2 again. Runs at 8X internal res, something stupid like 5120x4096 downscaled to 1080p. Doesn't make my driving any better though :v: My settings are here: http://i.imgur.com/M0XEPo0.png
I am pretty excited about the MK3 getting added to the game it's one of my favorite cars, let alone my favorite supra. All the others I'm pretty eh about.
They've added another barn find that they didn't even announce this time. It's the [sp]1967 Sunbeam Tiger[/sp]
I'm finding myself in the same situation even in Class A Oval. Players: "Bolt-on superchargers either make no sound or are too quiet" Playground Games: "We hear you loud and clear" :v:
I kinda hate how wide the roads are in all these open-world driving games.
I wish the supra in the base game of horizon 3 would have a wide body kit. Speaking off, didn't they say they were going to add more body kits in this update?

Then set "blending unit accuracy" to Basic or High. That fixes the brightness slider, as well as the brightness of the graphics in general, and also makes several effects work that don't in DX11. Even with the brightness cranked up in the shader options it doesn't look right, because while the 2D graphics are already at the proper brightness the 3D graphics are way too dark. Also, don't forget to set it to progressive scan ingame, though you probably knew that already.

They currently run like dogshit due to the number of light sources, or so I've read. edit: also yes, running on 480p progressive in the ingame settings, 16:9 ratio edit 2: no way hombre, FPS dropped to 16 in-race and the brightness slider still causes the garbled overlay

The HSV GTSR is very ugly. They turned a decent looking VS Commodore into a taxi with a boy-racer wing on the back, then they embarrassingly put some stickers all over it with the trifecta of 'GT' 'S' and 'R' performance badges, all combined into a single badge. But it's what it represents which I like about it. It started its life out at the Holden factory as the chassis for a boring, low-cost family sedan (albeit rear-wheel drive, because Straya). Then HSV yoinked it, finished most of it off, put a high-spec Australian-built V8 under the bonnet, and made it look absolutely ridiculous. But for the icing on the cake, they asked the Holden Racing Team from the V8 Supercars to blueprint its engine (at least for some of the GTSRs sold), because why not? It's a car with no shame. It's maddening. It's what happens when an executive at HSV says 'fuck it, we're already rolling in cash, so let's make and sell the most idiotic car that we can'.
i like generic 90's styling. I'm just disgusted at this thing.
I don't think even a single soul likes it for its looks. That's not the point of it imo.

Grab the latest 1.5.0 git build instead. http://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/index.php When you've downloaded and extracted it, delete portable.ini. This should load your settings and saves from documents/PCSX2, if you ran the full install of 1.4.0. This is the one I'm using. Turning EE Cyclerate back to default (0) should speed things up too. also yeah I'm an idiot, this is george v [t]http://horobox.reager.org/u/dustyjo_1481135151.png[/t] It's the most intensive track in the whole game so there are still some slowdowns here and there
