Spintires is 10 bucks, if you want to try something unique give it a shot.
does Assetto Corsa work in vr?
Spintires is 10 bucks, if you want to try something unique give it a shot.
That's a bargain. I've sunk over 100 hours into spintires. There's a ton of content out there, although the higher quality releases have slowed recently. I use it as my personal "toy trucks" sandbox, I can drive an 8x8 hauled up with logs, towing a tractor with a low loader carrying a smaller truck also loaded up with logs across a muddy field. There's a map editor that despite being pretty buggy with next to no documentation is relatively easy to make something that looks somewhat decent. Me and a friend spent a lot of time a few months back making circuits and doing time trials with different truck mods, taking turns on the wheel with the other on a stopwatch, which probably isn't quite in the spirit of the game. The slow pace of the game is relaxing as well, its a good game to play while watching the telly. which is probably why it's the only game my 66 year old dad plays on a regular basis. Sadly development has been incredibly slow, with no updates since March and the single dev constantly going missing; which is a genuine shame as it has so much potential. I still find the mud deformation and the way water moves around the trucks genuinely impressive. And it's a pretty looking game, despite being able to run on toasters. NFS 2015 is about $10 on origin right now, would it be worth getting solely on the singleplayer aspect?
does Assetto Corsa work in vr?
yes, uses oculus sdk only, so you'll need revive if using vive, and i think its only vr in races, not in menus
NFS 2015 is about $10 on origin right now, would it be worth getting solely on the singleplayer aspect?
No. It was dissapointing. The car selection is lame and awfully generic, car modification is dissapointing, handling physics are dreadful, and story and product placement are cringeworthy.
NFS 2015 is about $10 on origin right now, would it be worth getting solely on the singleplayer aspect?
The only thing you should be getting 2015 for at this point is the visual customization and the multiplayer, which is where the only replayability lies. The "story" is worthless, aside from giving you levels and cash. If you don't mind that, go ahead. Else I'd wait for 2017.
NFS 2015 is about $10 on origin right now, would it be worth getting solely on the singleplayer aspect?
I always say I'm one of the few people who genuinely enjoyed NFS 2015, so I would say absolutely. Thats a great deal. Thpugh i wouldn't buy it full price again. :v:
I enjoyed NFS, even though the physics are pretty god awful even for an "arcade-style" racing game. I think it's worth $10.
it plays fine with a controller, it can be a little harder to do fine inputs but honestly it doesnt affect gameplay that much
What about a keyboard?... I don't feel like killing 70 euros on a controller :v:
What about a keyboard?... I don't feel like killing 70 euros on a controller :v:
I don't think Dirt Rally is very playable without analog controls :v:
Dirt rally on keyboard is pain incarnate
NFS 2015 is about $10 on origin right now, would it be worth getting solely on the singleplayer aspect?
Driving is not realistic but fun, story is CRINGE/10. Soundtrack blows cock too. I enjoyed it, for $10 that's an OK deal.
I don't think Dirt Rally is very playable without analog controls :v:
Heh, I guess I should just get a controller and deal with it I guess....
ur just mad because I outdrifted you the one time we played
??? that was back when there was still story content to go through! and in a stock car lmao It's definitely worth 10$ for the customization, but expect the singleplayer experience to frankly suck dick and the multiplayer experience to be very specific to how well you manage to game the handling
Heh, I guess I should just get a controller and deal with it I guess....
I was lucky to get an xbox 360 controller at a flea market. Knowing Codemasters, you should be able to play it decently well with a Logitech F310. Amazon.es has those listed as 30 euro. No vibrations or anything, but it has all the right moves. Not the best controller, but it'll work. Should I get GRiD: Autosport or PCars for a good singleplayer/campaign thingy?
^ Do you prefer a campaign where you own the race cars and earn money or one where you're simply given the car for a season as part of a team?
^ Do you prefer a campaign where you own the race cars and earn money or one where you're simply given the car for a season as part of a team?
I don't really know. I enjoy the original GRiD's campaign though I think being hired for a season could be great if it is done well.

Was really great, so I should get that one aswell. super late edit: I forgot to add... One of GT4's biggest shortcomings in comparison to GT6? No Pearl's Girl.
The "story" is worthless, aside from giving you levels and cash. If you don't mind that, go ahead. Else I'd wait for 2017.
i found the story quite fun, mainly cause i was waiting for the waif from GoT to slip up on the fake american accent
I quite liked the story too honestly. It's a bit diferent, feels more...normal? Not too far fetched
welp, getting my second forza game, along with Xbox One
Assetto Corsa is on special on PS4 for $30, worth it? What is it like compared to Project CARS? [editline]25th December 2016[/editline]
I quite liked the story too honestly. It's a bit diferent, feels more...normal? Not too far fetched
The constant Monster product placement is awful, and the characters are all stereotypes. The story does have some sub-plots, but they all seem to abruptly end. But the point is, most of the game is awful, and the story doesn't make up for it at all.
Wait AC is on PS4? 😮
dirt rally is so dope i really want a racing wheel now [editline]24th December 2016[/editline] how do i rally irl
Wait AC is on PS4? 😮
Yes. I've looked at comparisons between it and Project CARS. Apparently it has fewer cars and tracks, and the AI is absolutely terrible (they never overtake), although it has better netcode, the tracks are higher quality, and the handling of each car is more-consistent than Project CARS (eg in the latter, some handle like arcade racers, while others can't be controlled at all - which I must say is true when comparing the GT3 cars to the Clio Cup). I might give it a pass. I'm up to Masters Championship and I've already lost interest. Are there ever any super-super stages in Dirt Rally? In the Open Championship there are only like 6km stages, while in Masters there are several ~12km stages in each rally. Are there like any 24km stages of an entire environment?
Each country in Dirt Rally is just two ~12km special stages that are also cut in half and are available in reverse.

how to spend xmas: play maxitune [t]http://68.media.tumblr.com/fefc8da432206ad7da987dedc121bc54/tumblr_oiq8xeRB3f1sg73pbo1_1280.jpg[/t]
Got myself Driveclub recently and I really love it so far. It's basically the same classic NFS for me: just driving cool cars on beautiful tracks with arcadeish physics so I could just take a break from actual simracing. BF made new Face17punch club for now, just letting you know if someone has Driveclub too and would get back to it.
Sorry about the awful name but Facepunch17 apparently had 'inappropriate language'. I'm trying to unlock all of the club-only cars and get the trophies
