There's a lot of cool stuff planned such as RallyX and multiplayer but they're a few months down the line right now, so at the moment all I can say is "a limited experience".
RallyX is due August unless plans have changed. Also, I think that multiplayer is intended to be included with it, so it's a month and a few days at most, thankfully not a few months away.

Since major patches are released at the end of the month, do the math.
Gonna try out Richard Burns Rally on the keyboard. probably not gonna go well but what the hell
I remember pilots who got it really good. There also some kind of 'Filter' settings that let you make steering smoother, but I don't know exactly how it works, consider it.
im tempted to get project cars but from the sounds of it the gameplay is just a bit eugh and it runs shit on AMD
Gonna try out Richard Burns Rally on the keyboard. probably not gonna go well but what the hell
it's pretty hard
can I just say that Dirt rally fucking hates me, I have about 2 hours left to get a time down for the league event and I start experimenting with the escort and the delta. And I like the delta, and my times were faster than with the escort and the subaru, but this fucking happens [t]http://i.imgur.com/6JH57Wk.jpg[/t] and the solution to this, is using the bonnet view, which makes me have slower times comparable to my old ones.
The Reiza crowdfunding campaign has been blowing up in the past few days! Good for Reiza, most people seem to agree that SCE consists of quality wrapped in love <3 https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/reiza-simracing-bonanza#/updates Their most recent milestone more or less confirms their own version of what rFactor 2 does with road rubbering. I'm glad to see that Iracing is doing this too and that it's becoming a standard!
has anyone got a link to how the callouts work in dirt rally? i remember reading they somewhat tie corner severity into suggested gear

I was bored and can't resize images on forums.

doesnt dirt support clutch in manual sequential mode? i dont have a h pattern shifter for various reasons
Reiza hit 100% of their funding goal! With this, Reiza is going to make GSCE even more legit and set money aside towards their next game. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/reiza-simracing-bonanza#/updates
Features / Improvements: Support for long distance races; Automatic steering ratio adjustment + Increased maximum controller inputs from 3 to 6; various fixes to existing issues & minor improvements to physics, AI, rules. V1.37 beta (including Modern Montreal & SuperV8) is being uploaded as we speak and will be made available to backers from level 2 upwards shortly. The devforum is also being set up for all backers - information regarding both will be submitted to backers´ emails shortly. The official rooms for public multiplayer racing are also live now, and are the base for the structure we intend to develop - more info about it here. The above thus is what is already CONFIRMED as upcoming additions. Below is the cumulative breakdown of what can still be added to this list, according to the funding level achieved when the campaign wraps up: if we hit 70%: Cars: Formula V10, Supertrucks; Tracks: Additional & longer Foz layouts, Supertruck layouts for existing tracks; Features / Improvements: New UI & HUD system, drivetrain physics development to demand more realistic gear-shifting; if we hit 80%: Cars: Copa Montana, Renault Fluence (Marcas); Tracks: Interlagos update to 2015 version; Features / Improvements: VR support (including Rift DK2); tire damage & dirt pickup; dynamic track conditions (rubber build up on the racing line & marbles offline based on vehicle interaction); If we hit 90%: Bonus car & track (as chosen via voting by backers) Features / Improvements: Custom offline championship tool; art pass + additional shader development to boost graphics; If we hit 100%: Cars: Honda Civic (Marcas), New Formula 3 Brasil models; Tracks: Extra layouts to existing tracks; Features / Improvements: To be confirmed. Keep in mind the breakdown above is an estimation, rather than a plan set in stone - it will remain subject to tweaks according to further feedback from backers and other circumstances. Also important to remember that all backers from Level 2 & upwards will receive early beta access to these developments before they are included in the official releases.
i cant rally, should i start on wales or germany they seem easier than the greek stages the career starts you on
i cant rally, should i start on wales or germany they seem easier than the greek stages the career starts you on
Germany, the tracks are entirely hard surfaces (they're slightly different but the same generally). It's perfect to get a feeling of how the weight physics and varying drive types of cars will work, then you can move onto slippery things like dirt and snow.
i cant rally, should i start on wales or germany they seem easier than the greek stages the career starts you on
yeah no, Greece is hell. Go to Wales and practice on the smaller stages to get a feel of how the cars handle on slippery surfaces, just dont set the track to wet, wet gravel is another ball game.
which ffb setting in dirt affects overall strength? also is it just me or does anyone else feel the game really penalizes you for using manual sequential in a h pattern car? it takes forever to find the gear you want, id buy a TH8A but i dont have anywhere for it and im not building a simpit until vive is relesed
Alright boys, since the WRX update is at our doorstep (sort of) this week's league event will be 50/50 gravel and asphalt, but the catch is, it's an asphalt stage followed by a gravel stage. And as per usual you can tune/repair your can once every 2 stages, so tune it so you can either go fast on asphalt or go fast on gravel, or be a pansy and tune it intermediately, also like rally cross it's gonna be much shorter, 2 events with 4 stages each, so practice. In other news the new blog is here.
As for what kind of things we’ll allow you to mod we’re still working that out but we’re not going to be able to do things like let you add in cars we don’t hold a licence for so you can do something crazy like race an LMP1 car up Pikes Peak (as cool as that would be). The only thing we do have an issue with is the kind of mods that enable you to set faster times. We see those more as cheats and if something gives you an unfair advantage over everybody else then we’re not cool with that – If you’re using anything like that then we won’t allow your times on our leaderboards, you may even find yourself unable to take part in our online events and leagues too.

First of all we’ve been looking to fix the stuttering that some of you have been experiencing. I get it a bit on my machine at home so I know firsthand how annoying it can be but we have come up with a solution. Replays are now going to be stored in RAM so they will no longer be claiming 1.9GB of your disc space. This eliminates any stalling that was due to disc activity. After the FIA World Rallycross pack goes live you may want to check C:\ProgramData\Codemasters\DiRT Rally\DataCache\<YOUR USER NAME>\replay folder and delete any files if they are still present. Something lots of you have been asking for is the ability to remove the driver’s arms and the steering wheel from the cockpit view. We’ve got this working now so you can remove just the arms or remove the arms and wheel from that view. This is going to be in the next update but to add to that we are planning to bring in some greater adjustment to the Field of View in a future update which will allow much greater adjustment of the gameplay cameras.
[t]https://igcdn-photos-f-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xaf1/t51.2885-15/11421870_839948779414421_1628047895_n.jpg[/t]

why even bother with modding support at all if they are going to have a attitude like that?
I got Driveclub recently, its a fun game but levelling is annoying. Do any other FPers play?
I got Driveclub recently, its a fun game but levelling is annoying. Do any other FPers play?
I play. I don't pay for PS Plus though, so I just try out the new DLC tours and cars whenever they're out.
is it a 10s penalty for jumping the start in dirt rally?

periscope is mobile phone livestreaming i dont see how its absurd they might not have had a webcam in that room
periscope is mobile phone livestreaming i dont see how its absurd they might not have had a webcam in that room
I said it's absurd because it lacks basic controls, like a timeline where you can skip/reverse the video and volume control.
i got out of rookie on iracing and now im not really sure what to do
skip barbers the most popular option for road, if your doing pval i would suggest sk althogh late model is good as well, the national is a faster slightly safer version of rookie ovals because of its high participation, its always a good idea to check out www.iracer.info to see if what your interested in is dead or not
assetto corsas official FB page posted this [t]https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xtf1/t31.0-8/11802570_1191694310856885_4141705398610957035_o.jpg[/t] alongside saying "Assetto Corsa 1.2 incoming: hangin' tough, stayin' hungry!" so we shouldn't have much longer to wait :lick:
