just drove the lotus exos for a few laps around RBR and had so much fun i was literally was about to come into the thread and ask if anyone would be interested in an AC racing series id be willing to organize it if people would show up
I could probably get us a decent server but I'll have to know approximately where people will be connecting from

That "Your stage" feature sounds absolutely insane.
That "Your stage" feature sounds absolutely insane.
man this does sound cool as shit!
funny enough, Gran Turismo 5 generated random rally stages but Gran Turismo rallying sucked
funny enough, Gran Turismo 5 generated random rally stages but Gran Turismo rallying sucked

sucked
Kind of like... a vacuum cleaner? .. Like what most of the cars sound like in Gran Turismo games? :v: [editline]7th February 2017[/editline] (Gran Turismo games are awful in so many ways, but they have a special place in my heart)
I generally don't care about car sounds, but to elaborate - I remember GT5 rally handling feeling like RBR getting even more floaty and less responsive, also with my wheel's FFB resulting in the earthquake.
So, it turns out, starting sim racing in a 500HP RWD Corvette is *not* the way to do it. Instead I decided to do the reasonable thing and jumped into an F1 car. And just like that, no more spins, no more running off track and actually setting somewhat competitive times for the class.
That "Your stage" feature sounds absolutely insane.
It really does, I am hoping there is going go be workshop support so you can share tracks you've made. That would be awesome. The next step up would be some kind of tool to actually let you build them yourself but I appreciate that would take some monumental effort on their part.
Also I can't figure out how to hide the UI when viewing after the fact so i cropped em, didn't plan ahead with the RS200 angle.
when you're on the screen with the choose watermark position, hit B to go back and without moving any analogue sticks (it un-renders the image) you can press the back button to hide the UI and then use screenshotting software of your choosing [editline]8th February 2017[/editline] [t]http://i.imgur.com/f48ELTS.jpg[/t] voila, complete with quick upload imgur compression how beautiful
i installed fh3 again but its unplayable with a wheel
I wish Project Cars had a better photo mode. No freecam fucking sucks.
theres a key combo that allows more camera control, i cant remember what it is now though
theres a key combo that allows more camera control, i cant remember what it is now though
CTRL+K is what you're thinking of. You can move the camera around the car better using WASD, Q+E, and the numpac.
CTRL+K is what you're thinking of. You can move the camera around the car better using WASD, Q+E, and the numpac.
I recall it requiring a command line option as well.

Yeah boy. 5 degrees of negative camber? Fabulous. Sierra Cosworths, M3s, V8 Commodores etc had nothing on the GT-Rs that were fielded in Japan, Australia and Europe. You can partially blame the GT-R for why Group A touring died when it did. [editline]9th February 2017[/editline] It worries me that PCars 2 has such an emphasis on production cars. They don't even have racing liveries.
It worries me that PCars 2 has such an emphasis on production cars. They don't even have racing liveries.
Would be nice to have an in-game livery editor to make up for that.
Would be nice to have an in-game livery editor to make up for that.
Nah tbh when you let people so easily make their own liveries, you get too much vulgar shit like super bright paintjobs, stupid anime girl liveries and stuff like that. I would rather feel like I'm in a professional race, and do my best to forget that half of the lobby is probably only 14 years old.

I wouldn't like to see it in public games as default because of the obvious shit skins that would inevitably occur.
I'm annoyed at the lack of Nissan in the first, so that's a welcome addition. Hopefully a street R32 or R35 will be included.
The newest facelifted Nismo R35 is in AFAIK.
it pains my inner completionist to give up on it but whoever designed magazine #22 in nfs underground 1 is an absolute lunatic for those unfamiliar, it requires you beat the track record for a drift race in one lap (whereas the record itself was accumulated over four). i remain thoroughly unconvinced that this feat is actually possible, even after seeing a video showing someone who obtained it
