idk what about GT6 that makes it worse than the previous games?? as far as i could tell it's just like GT5 except it looks better and has improved FFB.. i played both games quite a bit using a Fanatec and not sure why i'd play GT5 if GT6 is available??
gt6 is better, it didnt change much but what it did change is nice, its easier to get rare cars the goodwood festival of speed is really fun and they changed the suspension model, i saw a demo unit running GT Sports and it looks really good, a step up from forza and a must buy if you have a pro or psvr

The only advantage of GT6 that I can think of is that they brought Midfield Raceway and Apricot Hill back.

Is there anyway I can get Need For Speed Carbon on PC in this day and age? [editline]21st April 2017[/editline]
[t]https://68.media.tumblr.com/f53c275850dfa2c2276111f3ab6556b6/tumblr_ooi5tsVEkG1sg73pbo1_1280.jpg[/t] so are there any other games that have the ae86 with n2 bodykit as an option other than that f&f tokyo drift game?
That reminds me of the bodykit for the Futo in GTA V.
just look for a disk copy i guess, it isn't on origin and i doubt any digital store is selling it
could probably get a copy on amazon real cheap, i personally got mine at a half-price books for about $8 (collector's edition too!)

I thought this was a pretty good run. No idea how the world-record setters get their times, though. They must have min maxed their setups and learnt every inch of the track inside-out.
I hope Dirt 4 online events use randomly generated stages, in Dirt Rally (and the previous games too) top times are set by people who have obviously just practiced the stages to perfection which isn't really in the spirit of a rally game.
Can someone help me in Assetto Corsa? I got the game during the weekend sales and installed it. The issue is that I can only start the game for at most 1 minute before the game suddenly closed. When validating the game files, the game executable is missing and I found out that everytime when the game suddenly closes, the .exe file also disappears as well despite being there before turning the game on. I have no mods installed except for a custom track. I tried running it in compatability mode but that just makes the game refuse to start at all. I'm using Windows 10 64 bit. Also my antivirus isn't marking the .exe as malicious so I don't know what's wrong.
But removing .exe out of nothing is something like an anti-virus would do

Dirt 4 is looking like everything I could want out of a rally game. and I wont be able to play it. Ugh.
Can someone help me in Assetto Corsa? This happened to me a while back and that was the cause even though I'd set up exceptions and wasnt getting anything logged etc etc. Had to uninstall it entirely to get AC working again.

Even after setting the .exe to exception in the settings, I still get the same issue of the .exe file deleting itself when the game closes for no reason.
It certainly sounds like something an AV would do. Can't think of any other explanation honestly. What AV are you using?
whats the best way to setup forcefeedback in assetto corsa? i have the app thats supposed to set it dynamically but it always seems really weak or clipping like crazy
Just finished FH2 and i gotta say it's a lot better looking game than FH3
Just finished FH2 and i gotta say it's a lot better looking game than FH3
I have to disagree. FH2 is behind in many areas, one of the major ones that sticks out is the weather. With FH2 they were still finding their footing with having dynamic weather, and because of that many things look a bit "off" like rain droplets, the lack of puddles, and the fact that every wet road was basically a mirror. In FH3 the road shaders are a lot more realistic, it has physics-based droplets, and puddles are a thing now. Car LODs are also much better in FH3 (although that might just be a PC thing and not Xbox), for instance the Fiesta ST has painted on panel gaps in FH2 whereas in 3 its panels are fully modelled :v: There's also the more subtle stuff like whatever they did to car brakelights that makes them look so amazing, the fact that light reflectors actually work, global illumination, etc.
They will, and hopefully FP Rally will too.
Is this still going? I am just getting back into Dirt Rally after not playing for ages so an extra event to do during the month would be cool.
Dirt 4 is looking like everything I could want out of a rally game. and I wont be able to play it. Ugh.
why can't you play it?
It certainly sounds like something an AV would do. Can't think of any other explanation honestly. What AV are you using?
Norton 360. Which still really doesn't makes sense because Norton would notify me if it thinks a file is malicious before removing it.
Thinking about doing another AC trackday this weekend/monday. Probs the last one I'm gonna host for the foreseeable future so may as well go out doing all the good dumb shit.
Is this still going? And I'm moving abroad for work in a couple weeks. Probably not gonna have home internet or a PC for a good while. Let alone a wheel. Was debating shipping it/getting one out there but it'll cost me the earth either way.
BallisticNG has hit version 0.7 standout feature being workshop for custom maps.

I'm pretty consistent with my times in Dirt Rally in general, I can set some good results in those online events, yet there are some absolute madmen who still manage to be around 20 seconds faster in the same car on the longer stages even with stock setup dailies. If I try to push that hard, I mostly manage to have an embarrassing crash somewhere along the line. And I'm still absolutely rubbish on Swedish stages in Dirt Rally. If they are still that hard in Dirt 4, I expect to dive into a snowbank on every single stage no matter what.
