Ok Return of Razor is open, loaned car just like before with a background story of Blackridge PD holding Razor's BMW and they want the racers to drive him back to Rockport.
Said Razor's gonna drive his own Mustang.
does anyone know how to get rid of the headtracking judder when using a dk2 with dirt rally? i tried both extended and direct mode

I wonder what other cars they are going to put in the Update. That Evo X is probably going to be my to-go R4 car. Such a shame that Mitsubishi already stepped out of the WRC scene at that point, because I wonder how the Evo X would have done if it ever was made to compete with the other WRC cars.
Although something I wonder is, if they are going to put in the McRae R4 too, given that it has been in the other Dirt games too, even if it only stayed at that one prototype due to McRae's early death.
It would fit in with the late 2000s non-WRC class that seems to be the R4 class.

I really need to vent
Thought I would go marathon on monthly event, started doing stupid mistakes costing tens of seconds, ending in a barrel roll roof landing.
fuck this shit, I retired, there was no point to continue for me
It's getting really frustrating that after 70+ hrs of playing Dirt, I still can't get any entire rally perfectly clean like I do in RBR, which is considered MORE HARDCORE ETC ETC.
this retirement just screwed my mood for today and now I keep stumbling on various things that make me even more angry.

Wales is the one place that is guaranteed to cause at least one crash or accident for me every single time it comes up during a weekly or a monthly event. No matter what I do, at least once in those six stages, I will hit one of those idiotic small bumps on the side of the road before being redirected into the nearest set of trees. Even with the Mini Cooper S last week, I managed to have a massive 5-time roll before the car came to a halt upside-down into a tree.
It wasn't much better in this monthly by hitting one of those bumps on the inside of one corner in the last bit of Fferm Wynt Reverse, causing me to not only get stuffed into the nearest tree, but also managed to lose 20 seconds alone with the car having to be recovered, along with beating up the radiator and causing a puncture, which cost even more time on top of that.
Monte Carlo is a runner-up for me if it concerns places where I mess up constantly. Most of the time that gets caused by understeering into parked cars.
Not looking forward to it with the grip levels being all over the damn place since v2 physics on most RWD cars.
I've played Dirt Rally a lot, yet still there are enough stages with certain cars for me where I am just trying to keep the car on the road without hitting a tree instead of going flatout.

I get what you mean. Personally I do a lot better if I get a good flow going, and carrying it from corner to corner, that just builds up the as the stage progresses, but any mistake you make brings you out of it, leading you to make more mistakes because you tried to compensate or just because it broke your concentration.

more like I don't want to continue since the amount of time I already lost seems too much to stay competitive.
I think I just need to slow down, maybe because there are no one hit KOs in Dirt Rally makes me push more than usual and be less careful.

g27 where sequential isn't available. The rubber band is to pull it out of gear so i can use it like an e-brake without having to shove it back out of the "gear" when I use it

The early access started October 28, so it's possible they rushed to get their videos out ASAP.
So I went ahead and bought a G27 for cheap, but now I need a game to use it for. I found a 3 month free trial code for iRacing, but I hear that it's not very friendly to people new to sim racing. Do you guys have any suggestions for a game to get me started into sim racing?
With Game Stock Car Extreme [I]finally[/I] adding a thing so that your wheel rotation matches the car's rotation, I've been playing a lot of that this weekend. I kinda dismissed it before, mostly because nothing about the game really grabbed me. I don't know what's different now, but I'm enjoying it a lot more. The AI is fun to race against, and after some tweaking to give them more variety skill they're actually kinda interesting to race because they don't just all bunch up and drive in a line.
RRRE is pretty nice for a f2p game
